One thing I ESPECIALLY appreciated is how they held off most of the "intentionally" creepy bits until recently.

So far up until episode 15, nearly everything creepy has been entirely due to leaving stuff up to your imagination.

This is all intentional in the real world but in universe the only scary stuff that really happened until 15 is that creepy hidden photo of Tiara in episode 1 and "TURN OFF PLAYSTATION" (And maybe that screen filling pink eye/disk)

I have to agree. A single video gives off this unsettling, cut off, alone atmosphere. Like you're locked in your room with the only sounds being from your Playstation.

You just mentioned one of the biggest strengths of the series. Very few "startle" moments and even when they appear it's never obnoxious or unfair. That stupid air conditioner notwithstanding. The dread it gives off is much thicker and is very powerful

I still wonder why the British lesbian still refuses to release his Petscop 2 video. Is that like Pyro's "Half Life 3"?

Pryo does it both as a joke, and because the Petscop video was far more long form and analytical than his usual content, so he's probably waiting for enough content to work a full hour long video around.
 
Well that was a wild ride. I'm assuming there's more coming soon considering there's still that easter egg in the avatar we haven't seen yet.

I think he mentioned it in one of his videos that he is already working on it, but there is more content than last time he made a video on Petscop. And since it is an ongoing series, when a new episode pops up he has to watch it, take notes, write it into the script, etc., delaying it further.

That seems correct, yes.

Very interesting part, 16 still takes my cake as favorite though. It's so perfectly unsettling.

I don't know what the MO is now for the people running this channel (7 MONTH gap is kind of obscene), but I feel like we're coming to a head here with more and more of the "developer's" intent being revealed through dev features and otherwise.

I love super analytical shit like this, hope someone was inspired by Petscop because I'd be quite happy to see more things like it.
