🐱 PewDiePie Implies Chris Hemsworth, Kumail Nanjiani Use Steroids

CatParty

While several MCU actors are quite 'swole,' YouTube gaming streamer PewDiePie claims they are lying to people about how they got their bodies.

Stars like Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, and more recently Kumail Nanjiani have been getting rave reviews for their muscular frames. However, YouTube game streamer PewDiePie recently made some comments that could draw controversy if only because he's claiming they didn't get their cut physiques the natural way.

Chris Hemsworth especially gets quite a bit of attention because of his rather "swole" build. He has posted quite a few videos over the years showing how he got the body so many of his fans see in his movies. However, more recently Nanjiani has drawn quite a bit of attention simply because the comedic actor didn't used to be known as having the kind of body builder-type look he boasts now. Now his fans can count PewDiePie among those who think the comedian some shortcuts to get as muscular as he is now.

In one of his most recent YouTube videos, the streamer was very direct in his allegations that Hemsworth and others are using steroids. Further, he blasted the MCU star for peddling workout regimens that can be very expensive for his fans to follow, while Hemsworth doesn't actually stick to those workouts himself.

PewDiePie called it "lame" that Hemsworth and others claim they attained their build one way when he believes they got them another way. He added that "we" know the reason that they were able to get their bodies to the "next level" while also saying that it wasn't just "putting in the work."

He then went on to take aim specifically at Kumail Nanjiani and noted that the Eternals actor seemed to get really big, really fast. He added that anyone who adds the kind of muscle mass Nanjiani did in just a year was a "dead giveaway." He said that everyone knows that it takes time and is a slow process to get that kind of muscle definition. At the same time, PewDiePie admitted he wasn't entirely sure who he was supposed to be mad at, considering that the actors were just giving people "what they wanted."

It's possible one reason that the YouTube streamer is so annoyed at the actors he believes are taking shortcuts is that it appears he works quite hard on his own body. He's claimed that cutting out alcohol and protein as well as working out on the regular is why he's been able to transform his body.

Steroid use is not that dangerous if you do it under a doctor's care and do it short term. Of course they're all using steroids.

Lol @ shitlib "journalists" trying to pick fights between figures too big for them to smash themselves.

He's not competing in any sport so who cares. Unless making your gf/wife wetter than you can make her is a sport. Good for him etc.

You don't get these kinds of bodies by taking steroids and then laying around. They are obviously still working hard on their physique in a gym setting.
How bad are the side-effects of steroids, really? I grew up in an era when you kept getting told about how they'd kill you, shrink your balls, etc. But then they told me MDMA would kill me, too. Are these supplements actually that bad for you? Genuine question.

In moderation and with careful monitoring, they're relatively safe and (for men at least), have minimal side effects either short term or long term with the right drug combos. For women... well, they're basically just various forms of testosterone, and we all know what that does to a woman.

Overdosing though, well, we all know what Chris Benoit did, and Eddie Guerrero went and had a fatal heart attack, so there's definitely major risks involved with them.

I've considering juicing but I hear common side effects are hair loss.

Arnold Swartzenegger is how old? 74? The risk of steroids is vastly overstated because people don't want to admit it's a real life superpower. You can do TRT forever with basically zero downsides, its just when you are slamming massive amounts all the time like strongman. It basically just gives you a small amount of heart damage from constantly working harder.

Schwarzenegger has had three heart valve surgeries in his life, dude. Saying the richest guy out of bodybuilding was able to reach old age so it's no big deal might be one of the worst takes I've ever heard. That's not even getting into how the fucking game has changed ridiculously since the fucking 60s

Half the men I know who are slightly overweight have had one if not more heart surgeries in their old age. It's not exactly a big deal. Yes the body building game had changed to be way worse, that doesn't effect the way that mild to moderate steroid use has a barely noticeable uptick in health problems. How many people use steroids for years pretending to be natty and no one publicly knows? We live in a world of high school athletes and massive amounts of cops or other professional involving physical labor are juicing.

Well.....yeah? I just found it funny as hell at that Kumail Nanjiani keeps trying to deny it.

His face doesn't match his bodytype.

Most important - when people say "steroids" it's a vague collection of different stuff.
It's marginally more specific than "drugs" but not by much

Depending on what and how you use they can be fairly benign, juicing to the fucking gills like wrasslers and capes is probably outside of that spectrum.
afaik the biggest concern is the heart. Most juice has the basic effect "muscles get bigger" but it doesn't distinguish _which_ muscles, so that means the heart gets swole af too. That's a problem because the heart doesn't have room to grow like a bicep.

The sad part is since these dudes are backed by a bunch of doctors/specialist it's probably pretty safe. Having people 100% dedicated to manage the on/off cycle sounds pretty great......instead of just some dude you've met at the gym locker room.
It's been an open secret that they're pointed to a Hollywood doctor that understand the business and provides "supplements". Victor Conte might have mentioned it, he was a big guy in the roid/supplement business and is very open about what was going on. He was a guest on Joe Rogan some years ago, it was both entertaining and informative.
That's fucking hilarious. [Hemsworth lactating]
It is said that The Rock while in WWE had a shirt on for some time because he had surgery to get rid of his gyno(bitch tits).
Edit: Actually thinking about it, they go through this whole process for a few shirtless scenes. Aren't we at a point where CGI could take care of this if they just stayed in relatively decent shape to have a frame that works with the animators?
It works on women at least.

Using it moderately and not Ruhl levels then it should be pretty safe if you have a good regimen and testing like the Hollywood stars. Testosterone is probably the safest but it's not good if you're presently at risk for or experiencing hormone related diseases like prostate cancer.

A buddy started roiding but never really got around to going to the gym, but he definitely became bigger* and stronger despite doing nothing. That fucker then moved my 34" Trinitron even though I told him it was a two man job and we would be back in 15 minutes.

*sort of fatty-big, but still.
we all know what Chris Benoit did
Benoit got dropped on his head thousands of times and definitely had CTE. Dave Mirra killed himself and had CTE. There was an NFL player that knew something was wrong with his brain now and he wasn't like that in the past so shot himself in the heart so they could take a look at his brain. Benoit's steroid use didn't help his condition but the main thing was definitely CTE.

Was Scarjo pregnant while filming GitS?

They CGI'd hair for this chick? Couldnt get a wig? On one hand, kinda impressed on the waste of money + the fact i didnt notice. There is no other hand.
They just got lucky with the other comedic actors they cast. His whole schtick is self deprecatory or awkward humor. He’s not as charismatic as Pratt or Rudd no matter how much muscle he packs on.
No such thing as "casted". I think he saw how popular, and celebrated Rudd, and Pratt were after getting jacked and figured it would happen to him and he'd be rolling in puss but didn't realize he is unattractive regardless of how his body looks.

Look closer, they slimed her down as well, quite a bit. She complains about unrealistic beauty standards or some shit but she won't complain about how they bedazzled, CGI'd and beautified her appearance.

I think the super bulky look is fake and gross and that telling little boys that's a realistic goal is fake and gross.

Look at men who work with their bodies all day today. Tree trimmers and linemen all look like Brad Pitt in "Fight Club."

You can't get the bulky look without juicing.
100%

This is what an average dude looks like when he's physically active and eats right:

You can obviously get bigger and more defined than that naturally, and genetics plays a huge factor, but I think 'Jack Burton' is a reasonable and attainable fitness goal for the average man.

Nah, only women can be frumpy in these movies. Men have to be demigods.
Never forget the prime entitlement and whininess of women. Elizabeth Olsen was bitching because she showed a little cleavage in Infinity War.

Here is how a sexist man dresses Elizabeth Olsen.

What kind of gross weirdo forces a woman to show that much skin?

Here's how Elizabeth Olsen dresses herself.

Totally dignified and not at all revealing.

Say that to the glut of body builders who have been dropping dead of heart issues the past few years.

Also you seem to completely gloss over the kidney/liver/hormonal issues that steroids can cause. Even with moderate use this stuff can happen depending on your body.
