Archimede was born in Connecticut according to find-a-grave and ancestry.co.uk and died in early 1984 so yeah, Phil was lying and there is no way he could remember any time he spent with his grandfather. I can't prove it but I suspect Linda was the one who told Phil the family came from Foggia because it's just too obscure of a province for Phil to come up with on his own - if it were his own invention he'd be claiming Milan, Naples, Rome, Sicily, or maybe Corsica or Malta (those last two are not Italian at all but Phil doesn't know that).

Findagrave is never 100% accurate, it switches my great grandfather with a cousin of his because they share the same name when you look at some of their kids and vice versa. Of course though Phil is lying and this is an attempt to flex his Italian heritage, if you look on Pigpiggo for Foggia every mention is him either ignoring his dad's family and pretending he is 100% Italian as always and so is his family sauce or him getting very confused about what his ancestors are called. Sorry for linking the roach directly but here are some of the times he's brought it and Archimedes up.





What I can draw from his insistence he is from Foggia, though I doubt he can point to it on a map, is that his mom told him where the Salvagnos are from and Phillip got that deeply ingrained in his head. Given Phil forgets and fumbles with the word ancestors and doesn't seem to think it means his parents and parent's parents and so on it does stand to reason if Findagrave is correct that Archimedes is the son of Italian immigrants, and Linda Burnell was telling Phil about HER grandfather who immigrated from Southern Italy when he was young, which actually does add up well. starting in the 1880s Italians, particularly South Italians emigrated in droves to the US.

Archimedes was probably the son of one of them, and his mother was likely also ethnic Italian given Italians tended to marry other Italians after coming here.

If Phil's not bullshitng about his mother's heritage (who knows), then it's funny to think about where a small slither of his ancestors come from, in late antiquity they were considered romans but in southern Italy they were just on the upper rim of where most of them would have spoken Greek and not the regional/vulgar Latin dialect, then they were briefly apart of the sand niggers and might have spoken a little Arabic and then there is some Norman/French influence there in the late 11th century, then you have the weird years with the Spanish crown of Aragon, Holy Roman Empire years and finally Kingdom of Napoli dominance before an Italian unification.

Not like he'd know enough to talk about this, if he did I'm sure he would have pigsplained about it, boasting about how his ancestors would have witnessed the Golden age of Islam and the dominance of Norseman in his ancestral region.

Phil has your average burger knowledge of European history, probably on the worst end based on his geographic knowledge. He didn't even know Phillipos was a Greek name and not Italian, the Italian one being Felipe or something to that level. His knowledge on Italy doesn't even scrape the surface, I'm sure all it is pasta, mafia, and Catholicism.

His supposed Catholic background he loves to flex is a whole different beast however.

Since Phil's ancestors are from Foggia, in antiquity they'd be Iapygian Illyrians for most of its ancient history rather than Greeks. Ancient Apulia was settled by Illyrians who replaced the first Greek colonists there, after they were conquered by Romans they were completely Latinized somewhere around the 2nd or 1st century BC.

When it is brought up in the main thread the usual culprit is alcoholism, which is to blame for a lot of his puffy facial features to most people.

One of the things I find so funny about Phil ugly face is that this dude has such a negative chin that his upper lips protrude over his lower lips,this happens because his chin is so far back, if you are alone try to retract you jaw as much as possible and you will see you will achieve that look of upper lips protruding forward. This dude is just ugly as fuck , I guess that if he and Kat ever have children they will turn up looking normal since Phil's lack of jaw and cheekbones is overcompensated by Kat.

It doesn't help he has slowly been growing a double chin over the years. I wonder how filthy the fold of skin between his chin and neck is.

You can find pictures of him looking like a bit of a tubby as far back as his early youtube days, perhaps even earlier then that, it's a bit uncertain if he's actually gotten fatter overall or if he's currently at his fastest, despite the fact that based on recent appearances he might not seem to be at his fastest, but those excess doordash meals are getting stored in the fat somewhere in the body.

It looks to me like the fat, has kind off just succumbed to the baggy flesh on his twig like arms, his skin around his chin just looks like its gotten even more saggy and wrinkly in recent years, Phil without his barren attempt at a goatee would be all too revealing.

Phil is this weird skinny fat where he doesn't seem to gain or lose weight, but if you compare him today to say 2009 Phil for example, who looks roughly the same, he has gotten worse physically. Thanks to the shirts he wears you can tell back in 09 he was overweight sure, but he wasn't carrying baggy skin everywhere. Current Phil and will only get worst the more reclusive he gets. If I had to guess I would say he is past Chris-Chan in obesity but no where close to Wings.

To add to both of these Phil is in a really weird place. It's a little of everything. Phil has gotten "fatter" in the literal sense. He probably hasn't gained that much weight, especially given the state of his arms and legs, hell it would even be possible that he has really lost a small amount of weight.

Phil's issue is that he's sedentary. He's never eaten anything but shit so he's always been fat. The only difference is now he's totslly sedentary. He leaves the house once a weak and even then it's not him doing much physical activity. So his body has shed almost all muscle and retained a majority of his fat. Phil probably isn't even overweight or if he is it'sjust barely. He just has a really high bodyfat percentage from eating like shit and not moving

The jowls are getting bigger and as a result the chap chap chap noise happens every time he takes a sip of "water". I think the fat of in the jowls is making it more difficult to keep liquid in his mouth now that his lips are more or less paralyzed. I think the droop is just a result of this, the lips are getting compressed horizontally and its just plain unnatural. Expect to see some weird new ticks in his speech as his ability to pronounce sounds properly becomes increasingly hindered.

Is not just the jowls, something is going on in his nasty mouth,he's been licking the corners of his lips a lot lately, like a grandpa without dentures.

Those lips don't even look human, there is no definition of where they start or end, his skin just kind of changes to lips. Maybe it's low T or the shitty webcam or something but he is a health crisis waiting to happen. He always has his tongue up too and I'm wondering if that is swollen or he is intentionally keeping it up to hide something. This could explain his weird lisp he sometimes get and the slurring he does, the nudnik troll tongue gets in the way and fucks up his speech.
