If mama and papa Burnell were expecting grandkids they should've had another child. Phil might've turned out better if he hadn't been raised a spoiled single child.
Agreed. I think if Phil had an older brother to bully him and tell him he was acting like a faggot he would have turned out better. Only children have no siblings so they all the attention. I bet you Phil got praised constantly by his folks and got every toy he wanted. They probably told him he was going to be president one day and that was a special guy. They didn't realize how "special" he really was.

It's unfortunate Melissa came too late. I'm not too knowledgeable on the cousin lore but I assume she was brought into the family long into Phil's spoiled upbringing.

According to the main thread the Burnells adopted her when she was about 10 and Phil was about 6. However, the people claiming this have not posted anything to back it up - no statements from Phil, no court records, nothing.

The best I was able to find was an obit for her father which says he'd been living in upstate New York for 20 years but that doesn't tell us which came first, the move to New York or losing custody. After that the trail is cold until 2012 when a local police blotter and her father's obit both noted she was living in Bridgeport.

To your remark about Melissa coming too late, even 6 years can be too much. I know families where the first child is much (~5 years) older than all the others and it can create a really unhealthy dynamic - the kid is used to being the only child, he's old enough to remember being the center of attention, and he's old enough to understand the new baby is taking away "his" attention but not old enough to understand babies need more care. Melissa might be older than Phil but she wasn't in his immediate family until he was about 6 and she probably needed more attention due to her extremely dysfunctional parents so it could have happened with her and Phil even though she is older. Given how Phil reacts now I could totally see his parents just buying him new toys to shut him the fuck up while they tried to figure out to what to do with Melissa.

It's a real shame Phil isn't as candid about his childhood as Chris used to be. Lolcows could genuinely be used in educational studies about childhood development because I am sure most of them share common things in their adolescence.

I rotated the image and it brings out just the most bizarre proportions.

Quit comparing Ackdolf to Adolf. One was far more healthier with his eating, wasn't a boozehound, and had a chin.
Wasn't Adolf Hitler absolutely wrecked off cocaine and opiates in the 1940's?

I remember Phil on stream years ago telling a story about how his cousin Melissa had Cabbage Patch Kids, which at least has some age implications.

Correct but before the Parkinsons and shit set in he was far healthier than Phil ever was.

He also tells stories about how she is a junkie and ODed or something, he doesn't know and his parents don't know and she vanished off the face of the planet and he couldn't care less that his adopted sister is MIA according to his narrative.

Suffice to say we can ignore what Piggy says about his cousin.

These things could all simultaneously be true. I see no reason to go full tinfoil hat over it.

maybe it's phils blastering and exaggerating that he always does.
maybe melissa had a drug problem, but she wasn't some ODing junkie stealing on the streets to get her next fix.
you know how phil likes to blow every little thing out of proportion.

All I'm saying is, why would he make up a story that she had Cabbage Patch Kids?

the best lies have a little nugget of truth as phil says, when referring to detractors.
What are you saying though? That he used Cabbage Patch Kids as the nugget of truth to lie that his parents adopted his cousin at a young age?

...?

If you reverse pictures of phil for some reason it really shows how crooked his mouth and hairline is. Is it normal for people's mouths to be that slanted?

I think it's funny that his hairline slant and mouth slant are the opposite of each other.

He's such an odd looking person. He was never a looker but he could have done things to improve his appearance instead of turning into a mayo ghoul.

He is probably going to cope and lie about how it is the angle of the camera that does it again.

Balding can be asymmetrical and a combover will accentuate that, but a mouth should not be. The most likely explanation other than the much-awaited Stroke Saga is that he has some sort of dental issues, possibly a cross bite, that either makes it harder for him to close his mouth on one side, or doesn't make it harder but let him close it more without realizing it's lopsided.

Edit: If my theory is right then the problem is fixable but incompatible with Phil being Phil: The treatment would be braces or Invisalign (plastic disposable adjusters worn on the teeth, not sure if there's another term outside of the US) which would cost him about $5,000 with insurance (which he does not have) and limit his ability to just be a pig - certain foods are no-goes with braces while Invisalign patients have to take the adjusters out while they eat. Knowing Phil he'd lose them or leave them out to eat so much that they simply would not work as intended.
