As much as I bitch about my long-ass commute, I get to see Chinatown every single day. I took these over the summer when I was feeling particularly down.

I love Chinatown. The food is delicious, but the people who live there make it better. Any bakery or restaurant or tea shop you go into is staffed with the friendliest people who love to tell you when they immigrated or how it is to be a first generation American.

I love seeing the locals and the tourists in Chinatown during the summer, and the smells make it all the way down here, to what is dubbed 'Little Mexico'.

Seeing the skyline in the morning is always a perk.

May as well share something that is near where I live:

An off-campus location of the college I attend. One fun fact that is rather grim: It used to be a McDonalds back in the 80's. What makes it grim is that it was the site of a massacre.
