It makes your anxiety go away, which makes it fine to use as rescue medication when you're having panic attacks and/or severe mental breakdowns. If your anxiety is justified and never goes away you probably should not take it, because it will make the pain go away but it won't fix the underlying issue creating the anxiety in the first place.

I think living in a metal shed in Merida because you fled your country due to legal issues, your income decreasing steadily to the point you get paid less than minimum wage, looking like a 60yo obese alcoholic in your late 30s, almost dying several times live on air, having brain damage due to several beatings in Portugal, not paying taxes, and having several DVROs probably fits the latter; but who knows. It’s ironic since both Ralph’s parents and his children are the Medicare and Medicaid dependents. Ralph was also probably on Medicaid until his 30’s since he was unemployed and made no income the majority of his adult life.

Jim OTOH isn’t old enough for Medicare and he actually worked and had private insurance so would never qualify for Medicaid.

Imagine if there was no Medicaid Ralph’s brother would have died on the streets years ago because Ralph sure as shit wouldn’t have done anything for him. Ronnie sure as hell lived off a SSI nut check. Sandra had to rely on Medicare to stay alive and Ralph even lived off his sick mother’s SSI check and welfare benefits from 18-30.
