he's essentially said, "ethan, you moron, you can't use allegations of someone else's crimes to defend your own crimes. if you think that i'm doing something illegal, submit it to the court, and then i'll have to defend myself. if i was able to do it, it's not that hard. you have the paperwork! i've literally shown you how to do it!!"
