And beyond Kilroy, (I specifically searched for American male college students, because they tend to be the least vulnerable in some respects - young, healthy, strong - all things Ralph is not. Got a couple outside college age, but still younger, bigger, stronger than ralph):
Andrew Dorogi, 2018, Amherst College, 6'3" tight end, football and hockey player (point is a big, strong guy) , called his mom saying 4 men dressed as cops said they were taking him in. He was inside the international airport having missed his connecting flight. Found on train tracks miles away, dead under supposedly inoperable camera.
Taylor Meyer, 2018, Colorado U grad (stabbed to death celebrating a friend's birthday)
And very recently:
Cincinnati architect murdered in Mexico in January 2023.
4 Americans abducted, 2 dead in March 2023
Gabriel Trujillo (Berkeley grad student studying the fucking buttonbush, by all accounts a wonderful and gentle person, married and apparently planning a family) - shot 7 times in his car and killed in June 2023
Of course there are other American deaths in mx, usually involving Spring Break and hotel balconies, and of course people get murdered all the time, everywhere.
But that I got 7 murdered + 2 more kidnapped in the first page of results says something.
Still better than being a Mexican university student, who seem to get murdered in droves - one set of 5 recently lured (August?) from school by the promise of work, tortured and killed (one was made to behead another). Murdered on camera.
Another set of 5 (med school students) in December.
And then there's the 43 teaching college students kidnapped, tortured, and murdered in 2014. And who was notably arrested for his role, just finally 7 months ago? The former head of the anti-kidnapping task force.
Also arrested/dirty were at least 20 soldiers, an army colonel, one of the responders who rushed to the the scene of abduction, and a coroner was also their partner in crime (he sent photos of corpses and evidence at the crime scene along with helping the traffickers bury the incinerated bodies in a crematory owned by his family), and the mayor and his wife.
