Agree, except for the pre- part. Dude is already in the beginning of type 2 beetus. Fortunately, he probably has no need to worry, as his liver probably looks like it already took a shotgun blast from washing down various pills with the booze, and either it or the kidneys will blow out before he grabs a diabetic coma.

Alcohol abuse has more consequences than liver damage, affecting your eyes, your skin, your immune system. Power levelling a little bit during my time with a bad alcohol habit I got a severe case of plantar warts especially on the right foot. It went from bad to worse and I tried everything, perfect hygiene, médecine, dry the skin, but it just kept on growing and I got these huge chunks of multiple warts under my foot, it was a living nightmare.
After I stopped drinking (just having a beer (only one) once in a while) the problem suddenly went into reverse and my foot went back to normal, it took maybe 6 months but then it was over. It can't be just a coincidence.
