They needed time for this to play out. I'm sure once Ralph's out of jail we're going to get a "IT WAS ACTUALLY SCARLETT WHO WAS IN JAIL IF YOU WANNA KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT IT" video as he's running to the airport to flee to Mexico.

I would, however, like to see the bodycam footage. It'd be fucking hilarious if one of the big high profile bodycam channels posted it - Code Blue Cam mostly seems to get footage out of Wisconsin and Minnesota, so it is a possibility. It'd be even funnier if EWU gets it, they do like to focus on whatever's being hyped at the moment.

It's not about the severity of the crimes nor sentencing. Ralph only admits his defeat in either death or in jail. He has on multiple occasions on alcoholic rage challenging people to put him in jail for no reason.
The fact he end up in jail is the biggest L he could possibly take.
