A few months ago he bragged that Meigh and Harry couldn't even find him at his new location.

My guess is that he's renting under an assumed name or subleasing via a service for expatriates, perhaps the same one that he used as an address when he served MWV with an anti-slapp. It has been my theory that the Mexican lawyer Ralph frequently refers to is associated with this business.

I don't even think the Mexican government has systems in place to preserve human life, let alone a cat's.

For anyone who ever finds themselves in a situation where they have to leave a cat for an extended period of time without knowing when they will be back and they are not sure they can find someone reliable to take care of the cat, one thing you can do is set a faucet to drip continuously into a bowl in the sink, the bowl will slowly fill up, then eventually overflow and the water will drip over the edge into the sink's drain. This allows the cat to get fresh water whenever it wants, and it ensures that the water will not run out. Yes, you will waste some water, but even for weeks on end, it will be such a small amount it will not matter. Cats are naturally attracted to running water to drink from, so even if your cat would not normally drink from the sink, they will if they are thirsty.

It's a very easy, simple, and cheap trick to make sure your cat will be okay if for some reason you can't get home. I actually do this every time I leave the house since you honestly never know what might happen to you that would leave your cat in a bad situation (I'm sure it sounds paranoid, but for such a small amount of effort and cost, it is worth the peace of mind.)

Ralph could easily land Federal human trafficking charges, if Scarlett tries to say Ralph coerced her into crossing state lines to shoot porn against her will.
