That's simple. He needs Harry or Meigh to pay for the divorce. I'll give the Kang credit, he's got balls thinking this is going to work out without the family Morris extracting what little value they can out of his worthless ass. Bonus kino if Meigh just refuses because it would be funny to her.

Horse divorce never happened, she simply "absconded with his child" but for real.

As opposed to the first time she fled the stable to NY and left Ralph stranded at the airport.

This is somehow as endearing to me as it is funny. Maybe because im also an impulsive addict, but regardles.
 
Meigh can't do the whole divorce in absentia thing because you have to prove to the court you've made every effort to contact your spouse. This includes documented "diligent efforts" followed by a court-approved alternative service which requires a sworn affidavit, although if Ralph is refusing to disclose his address which prevents personal service, his deliberate refusal could potentially be classed as some sort of evidence that strengthens the case. It could be a matter of proving that you want a divorce but him being uncooperative by not disclosing his address. Getting a default judgment has a lot of hoops and is difficult.

Ralph brought this upon himself fleeing in secrecy to prevent being served any sort of legal documentation because he's a BISH. He'll be married to Pantsu forever and won't be able to elope with his porn star queen.

Bigamy is an interesting arc, though. Very on brand

Harry is the current mediator so he kinda has to. Meigh doesn't want any contact with him whatsoever. If Ralph wants to file, he has virtually the same issue as she does. She's refusing contact and he doesn't have her address due to her having safety concerns. She can however authorize an attorney to accept service on her behalf. It's a time consuming endeavor, complicated, and expensive. The Pig doesn't have the patience for it, nor does he have the dollarydoos. Waiting days prior to his planned "wedding" to notify her kin that he wants a divorce is insane levels of retard on his part

The real question is, does Ralph know he's about to commit bigamy? He's been dumb enough to commit worse crimes, but this is beyond all limits of retardation.

And if this is all a WERK, why go through all the trouble?
 
If there is a way for Meigh and her father to entirely cut Ralph out of their lives in every way through a divorce and a court agreement to never see, speak of them or contact then it is worth every penny spent. There’s no value in even child support from the pittance it is with the fact you keep Ethan a constant in your life; a clean cut is a new life.

If Ralph is excited to marry Scarlett and this is his ticket back to America to get an apartment then make it so.

Ethan will be back in jail on domestic abuse and drug trafficking within a year.

Ethan, Neigh, or both would have to seek a termination of parental rights/sole custody. I can't speak to NY state, but where I live judges are loathe to do that. They won't even let the parent who wants their rights terminated just do it. They view it as a responsibility for the parent. The "family courts are against men" is true to a degree I'm sure, more or less depending on individual states, jurisdictions, and judges. Here, everything starts out at 50/50. Your ex-wife could have left you for an abusive drug dealer and she herself became a recidivist criminal drug addict, but the default position is that children's lives are better with both parents in it.

My buddy did get eventually get sole custody and all her rights terminated, but it took a long ass time. It was 5+ years. There were many arrests, probations, rehab stints, a son left at the hospital and abandoned to the state at birth by her before it happened. His lawyer advised him many times to slow roll it since a) he was a man and b) she wasn't trying to see her children anyway. Everyday his heart would stop at the prospect of her coming to take their child and him having no legal way to stop her, but he trusted his lawyer.

I have no doubt a judge would look at Ralph and be sympathetic to Neigh, but there is no guarantee it would be a quick or cheap process. Ethan would be the postergunt for a quick and painless termination. I just have no faith in the court system after watching so many judges bungle so many things watching lolsuits here.
