The lie about taking Rosie to the doctor is incredibly transparent, but I do like that in this fantasy world Ralph made up he's still a piece of shit that would leave his wife and baby daughter stranded a whole weekend just so he could leave his truck parked at the airport for his own convenience (contradicting what he had already said about taking an Uber to the airport).
