I don't really have much exposure to Ralph, but watching recent clips posted and yeah he's 100% melted his mind with xanax. I have a family member that abused them, and I'd recognize that tired but incredibly stubborn kind of retarded behavior anywhere. Eventually that family member got off them without any particular supervision or weening after some DUI related events, and they went through a psychosis with shit like mood swings, insomnia, paranoia, and vivid hallucinations, such as seeing a fucking prison chain gang outside working on their yard. Even once that was over though their memory and cognitive functions are still kind of fucked, years later, and they can even barely talk about shit as inane as the weather without saying something that leaves you mildly confused on whether or not they were having an entirely different conversation than you were.

All that to say if he doesn't stop now, and responsibly so, you guys can look forward to continuously increasing levels of retardation and embarrassment. Also, stay the fuck away from benzos.

He can’t even open his eyes. It’s really uncomfortable to watch him struggle to get words out and keep his head above the table. I feel seconded hand intoxication watching him from < 1min clips. Do his “real fans” like this? If I saw someone that I like act like this on stream I would be horrified and doing anything I can to get them off the computer and in bed or a hospital.

Are there any “Ralphamales“ here who can explain to me why you watch unironically? You can DM me if you don’t want to get neg rates for being a pay piglet. Genuinely curious and not trying to concern troll or A-hog.

And it has the lengthiest and most severe withdrawal symptoms and tapering often requires micro-dosing 18 months after initial treatment as well.

I have seen the taper technique that you speak of. From what I gather, micro dosing isn’t for everyone and especially those of us with the misfortune of having addiction disorder. That micro dosing technique isn’t practical for addicts to do alone. Anyone hooked on this shit needs structured treatment.

I was abusing the equivalent of what Ralph is and I ended up needing treatment after I had a seizure from thinking I could quit and get by on just supplements (my dumb).
Under the supervision of an addiction medicine doctor, my taper was done in a little under 6 months. My doctor had me on Klonopin because it stays in your system longer. Most addicts can’t taper without the help of another person in the home. For me, my husband kept my pills and administered as per what my doctor ordered.

I was able to do a 90 day outpatient treatment program with good follow up care. I know I am lucky to have such resources. It’s been almost 4 years and I have had a few mental health challenges since quitting…. just anxiety from the state of the world. I think that shit fucked up my brain…but, that’s another story…

That’s the thing about massive doses of benzos, your memory of anything you did under the influence is wiped out. Even if he went under treatment and got weaned off the xanax his brain is permanently damaged (from the alcohol too.)
