I think part of Rekeita's being okay with Ralph was at that time Ralph still had something of an audience and Nick may have believed that his audience had some major cross over.

I believe even if Ralph had not gone after Nick that at this point Nick would be seriously distancing and probably would have begun doing so after the Rittenhouse trial.

It is interesting to think that in just a few years Ralph has gone from being someone who could put fun and interesting people in the same chat to someone so fucking toxic(not tawxic)that even being associated with him could queer a deal.
