Nope. Ralph is the desperate gold digger in this instance. Scarlett could have gone a thousand other ways if she was solely money motivated, and probably been better off tbh. I think fame, validation and attention are her primary motivators. Ralph is a dead broke shyster, a gold digger wouldn’t get anywhere near him. I think the fact Ralph is a broke hobo has appeal to Scarlett because it gives her leverage. Ralph is 100% dependent on her goodwill.

I think Scarlett did whore herself to wealthy men for awhile but it didn’t turn out well and broke her brain even more.
