TorrentFreak: U.S. Govt. Backs Cox in Landmark Supreme Court Battle Over ISP Piracy Liability (archive)
The U.S. Solicitor General has urged the Supreme Court to accept Cox Communications' petition in a landmark piracy liability lawsuit. The USSG argues that ISPs are not necessarily liable for pirating subscribers and warns that the current precedent may lead to disconnections for many innocent subscribers. At the same time, the USSG urged the court to deny a petition from the opposing music companies, which seeks to expand the current liability verdict.
Could be a big deal if it ends up at SCOTUS.

Does anyone have any good torrent sites for tv series? Used to use eztv but it seems to have gone downhill
Find an invite to one of the IPTorrent sites or keep an eye on TorrentLeach around Christmas when they usually open registrations.
Try pirate bay.
TPB has too many fake torrents now to trust anything uploaded in the past few years. If you're looking for old obscure torrents from over a decade ago it's a good place to start.

I download TV shows and movies I can't find on Usenet on TPB all the time and I have never encountered a fake torrent. Maybe you're not sorting stuff by number of seeders?

I use 1337x, but I have Adblock and I can't remember which url is not a spam clone.
I've been an open tracker peasant ever since Torrentshack/TheShack got shut down, i am constantly surprised to find some real obscure movies on there. Only real downside of using 1337x are the fake seeder/leecher stats.
