Dumb question but if I want to share something here by torrent is that safe? Or should I be using a VPN first?

we really need to consult null about this, no idea whether its ok to post magnet links or not and i've read the rules

EDIT: you should absolutely use a VPN when doing any kind of filesharing

It's fine unless it isn't. You risk your IP being linked to your account, so if you're Mossad or something that's a big deal.

Using VPNs is for the massively autistic. You can turn on private mode on qbittorrent, this will turn down the amount of seeders available but your autism will be saved.

Putting your torrent on public won’t. My torrent got 140 immediate seeders ready to seed. If you’re that concerned about some Assad agent tracking you down, then torrent behind a VPN.

Do you know where I can find X360 and PS3 ISOs? I'm looking for Condemned 2 and I emulate console games once in a blue moon, so I don't know any good sources.

Edit: I found a copy on romsfun.com and the download is resumable. I'll get it eventually, even though it fluctuates between 300kB/s and 15MB/s for some reason.

My go-to for ROMs. The download speeds are atrocious but everything is in there.

I know that in newer versions of qbittorrent you can use I2P. Which will allow you to download / seed torrents Anonymously.
