Pitch: Women's Only App Enforced by 3rd Party ID Verification

Back in my day we used to laugh at feminists who demanded a safe space, what went wrong?

It's not really a "safe space" if you want a men's club to have men in it and a women's club to have women in it, a club about gaming to have people who actually play games in it, etc. The problem with "safe space" as reviled is they want the entire goddamn world to be a safe space, including your personal social circle, whether you even want them there or not.

Love the concept of a women-only app. Don't like the idea of KYC for it.
I think Giggle had the right idea using AI to scan faces. Add a hand size analyzer to it and we're good to go.
Please ban pooners,
Would pooners even want to join a women-only app? Wouldn't they be too upset because of "muh dysphoria"?
I think detransitioners would be more likely to join.

Man here but just out of interest: What kind of verification service would you use?

  • Photo only with auto verification (can be bypassed easy af by just getting some generic passport PSD and photo from thispersondoesntexist)
  • Photo only with human verification (harder to fool but still easy if you put in the effort)
  • Photo with Selfie
  • Video of ID itself
  • Full-on video call where you need to show the person on the other end your ID

They just don't ok?
Okay would you like to talk about how much endometriosis sucks? How about knitting, what's your favorite pattern? Have a favorite skein to use?
How was your birth, what did you do to stay healthy? Keep baby healthy? How about celeb gossip/general gossip, especially about women leaning celebs? What was your diameter when you gave birth? Did you tear? What meds were safe for you to take during pregnancy? What foods were not allowed? Sure I could google some of this, but maybe I could find recipes easier that won't upset my stomach?
Have you noticed ibs seems to be triggered a lot during a period?

I can keep going if you like.

I think that part of that is that Ovarit is a pretty tranny hostile website so it’s much easier to gatekeep against them, so trannies are more interested in getting it shut down rather than trying to infiltrate it. Trannies very much work on a system of being given an inch and taking a mile.
Yeaaah but they're still basically redditors and any right leaning thoughts get mauled. Maybe I want to be a stay at home wife that gushes about all my animals, baking and athstetics!

Retard males like this are only capable of posting pictures of the same three women over and over, to own the libs. In a just world, those women would get residuals for every time you retards posted them, making those women billionaires.

If Null's app means I don't have to suffer the postings of room temp IQs like this, then I'm in.

> I need a safe space guarded by men to protect my feefees against autistic shitposters
> Girl power btw
Moids ITT working overtime to be a living example of why such an app needs to exist.
Null, posting in the women section's off-topic board: Women, what do you think?
Men: There is no potential benefit or market for a women's only space. You are being hysterical.

I'm pretty okay with the idea. Did anyone ever find a solution or different company for the sex id?

I tried looking into this myself, but all the companies I saw seemed to have a "schedule a consultation" barrier to any more information so um. I haven't progressed further than that

Alright, I don't know shit, does it cost to have a consultation? I can help out if it's just talking to people and asking the relevant questions? We should just keep track of the companies consulted?

We would need to be sure KiwiFarms is never mentioned. There is a non-zero chance Brickface is closely watching this thread, and has already had multiple Girl Talks with ID verification companies to ensure this never gets off the ground.

It doesn't look like it costs anything, but yeah not knowing shit is my issue too. I mean I get the general idea but I don't really know what all to ask about since this stuff isn't really in my wheelhouse

I believe the most relevant question is if they include the sex when they verify passport's and include it in the issued token. Like my country gives you a a certain number in your social security no. to indicate your biological sex.
The process works like this:

1. Register on SITE.
2. Forwarded to 3RD PARTY.
3. Data uploaded to 3RD PARTY.
4. Data processed, stored, handled, exclusively by 3RD PARTY.
5. 3RD PARTY asks you for consent to send specific information to SITE (in this instance, only Gender).
6. SITE stores an API token (looks like 'b594e335-ea8d-4a6f-969a-ab167a56eef5').
  • This token means nothing on its own.
  • This token has value to the 3RD PARTY.
  • SITE can check this token against 3RD PARTY to ensure that no one registers twice.
7. In the event of total data breach, hackers get meaningless tokens, F/M.

I'm not settled on an account system yet. You'd basically log in with this token.

I don't even know if that could be a custom request either– maybe with smaller companies? I'll just be the idiot that asks anyway I suppose.

If we collect a list of companies offering the service we can work it off and report our findings— or create the list as we go along. While Null likes creating work for himself, we could do some of the groundwork?
