I guess Antonblast isn't popular enough for its own thread, but I can kind of understand that, since the game is shit. I got dogpiled by fanboys for saying that the game is a fucking visual mess.

I have never refunded a game faster. Legitimately ~20 minutes after release I was done and had my money back. Its only saving grace is Anton's opening monologue and overall sound design.
 
Yeah I played Antonblast. The movement system was a nightmare that took way too long to get the hang of. Too much shit on screen. The acceleration system they had ingame just didnt work because of how you couldn't focus on it and your character at the same time. Plus the only good boss was Freako dragon. Everything else was meh at best, forgettable at worst.

I hate how they botched the writing on this thing. There's so many ways they could have gone with for the writing to compliment the wacky artstyle, and instead they have the characters just jarringly swear like edgy teenagers. It's obviously inspired by 90s cartoons like Pizza Tower, and yet the latter manages to do it's source material more justice by having zero dialogue. The only character that gave me a laugh is Satan, but he's just a clone of the devil from Cow and Chicken.

For a pizzachvd fr*nch guy? This is beyond commendable compared to what most gamedevs are like nowadays (pisscord, gay drama, online slapfights).
 
I was planning on maybe giving Anton blast some credit and that maybe it’s gets better with skills, I also like the dk64 sound effects in some of the world ( kind of an issue as well since its very noticeable they reused sfx from crash and dk64. Wouldn’t be a problem if they had their own sound scape like pizza tower.)

You don’t just pull a fucking timer level like that on a player especially in the middle of the game.

And it’s the stupid mini game bullshit where I swear one of them proves the boost mechanic doesn’t actually make you go faster…

It's only 4 tracks:
  • It's Pizza Time! by Mr. Sauceman
  • The Death that I Deservioli by Mr. Sauceman
  • Unexpectancy, Pt 3 by Mr. Sauceman
  • World Wide Noise by ClascyJitto
They also released a Celeste (lol) music pack before, and each track costs 2 bucks (lmao) unless you buy the 6 dollar bundle, so expect the same here.
 
Six years later, it was just supposed to be funny animation game. Infected with tranny stuff anyways, because programmers are autistic and can't be normal.

His scheme is fueled by spite over how Peppino's restaurant was still afloat (barely) and depending on how you interpret their previous relationship, possibly being pissed off over the fact that the bad guy was still going while the hero failed.

Shit's open to interpretation though, so take it with some salt.
