Is there a current MLP season airing right now? Because if not, then he's just busy with other things right now.

Does anybody else feel like they're just adding bells and whistles to something that really doesn't need it? I mean a "share button"? Why?! It's so unnecessary. And why do we need touchscreens on everything?
I understand their aim to make gaming more social, and I think this works a bit better than trophies. I'd rather be able to see a funny clip of my friend doing something stupid in his game, than have a trophy notification interrupt the cinematic I'm watching to congratulate me on completing the game's first mission, since that totally deserves a trophy.

but for some reason i can see him becoming a hoarder once barb goes. the trauma of his life crumbling around him and trying to hold on to everything in his old existence may be enough to spark such a psychological change
Sure, that's a possibility. Although I don't know if he really is interested in anything that he could hoard that would cause problems like with Barb. He might develop the mental defects that hoarders have, but it's not like he cares about furniture or whatever stuff Barb is hoarding. It'd take awhile for him to fill the house with my little pony dolls and whatever else crap he's into nowadays.
I don't know if this falls into the clinical purview of "hoarding", but Chris is definitely obsessed with the past, and the more things slip away the more he'll try to hold on to it through collecting crap and fantasy. He might not hoard a ton of physical objects, but he'll rearrange his living space to be a lair into which he can retreat, which I think is part of hoarding mentality.

Did anyone else see the footage of the game from the same guys who make little big planet, Media Molecule? from what i gather you can make your own 3D models in it... can you imagine what nightmares will come out, especially now he can share the footage easily?

like a really, REALLY deformed Sonichu/Rosechu...

Oh, and theres no doubt he will get the pseado-sequal to Little Big Planet either

Oh yeah, if high school memories had a physical embodiment that Chris could hoard, he'd be just as bad as Barb. They'd be fighting over places to put their hoarded crap.

but what i'm saying is that the urge could be latent and once she's gone it could come about. it will be devastating for him once she's gone. will he have the will to get rid of the things that remind him of her? he may say it, but we won't really know once it all happens.

Chris isn't going to stop being Chris. Hoarders hoard things they find interesting or useful. Their line of thought is "hmm, this might be useful later..." except they do it constantly.

Before they know it, you can only get through their house by passing through little tunnels through all the junk. Chris doesn't have an interest in anything large enough to clog up the house.

Now, I guess maybe he could completely turn around and develop some inverse personality who really likes antique furniture. Hell, maybe he could drive his car through the game place. All sorts of crazy things could happen and I can't say they won't happen. But I can say, based on what the public knows and what I know, that some things are unlikely to happen.

As a PC Gamer, I am unimpressed by the Quadruple. When the fanboys started touting its APU as "high end" I busted out laughing. My my mid range rig, that has now two year old tech in it, is more powerful, and that's sad. Also, I am back compatible with every game ever. I'm sure Chris will still gobble it up though.

true, true. what we have learned is that if anything, chris has been known to do surprising things.

The best part about my PC is that I have a dual monitor set up. I like that I always have a spare screen to google boobs whenever.

Sometimes, sure. But it's not like we can make any predictions about the surprising things. We can only make predictions about the ordinary stuff he does.

I have hoarding tendencies and there are varying reasons for it. For me, it's certain physical elements having a connection to a good past. I would hesitate to throw out some useless, torn notebook from my childhood because it was from a happier time, whereas I didn't have trouble pitching my high school notebooks because those years were so dark and forgettable. As of late, I'm having trouble thowing out stuff from ~3 years ago again, although if it clutters up the room, it goes.

From my recollection Mavin, when he does toss things out for some dough he seems to toss out things that are in quite poor condition anyways. His motives for doing it are also to pocket any cash for them rather then selling some to simply get rid of them. The key to getting rid of clutter if you suspect you have even a bit of a hoarding impulse is to take a good look at a few objects that you keep because they might be usefull someday and say "I am never going to use this"

With the system not being backwards compatible, its more then likely he is going to buy all the e-versions of his PS1/2/3 games. I didnt watch the whole annoucement video to see what games Sony was trying to shill with its new upcoming console, but I didnt hear any of the kinds of games that tickle his :pickle: , specificly the kinds with rather robust editors and cartoony graphics (Modnation Racers and LBP). Not to say he plays thoose kinds of games exclusivly, but thoose two are very notable as he actually released stuff for them.

The whole Share button is the most mysterious thing though. My guess is that it would be used to do things like take a screenshot of your game and upload it to facebook and whatnot. Its a shame then, if he does get a PS4 (likely) and plays with that feature that we may never get to see what he posts. Its not that he has an aversion to sharing, he happily spills his guts to the 3 or so people on his facebook, but rather DEM TROLLS I CANT LET THEM SEE MY STUFF THEY MAY TROLL MEH

*stress sigh*

Well, sure, if I had video games and cared about video games, I wouldn't sell them. I'd sell things I didn't care about. And yeah, he sold them because he needed money.
