My God. I just can't get over the sheer magnitude of the time these people waste on this rubbish, and then complain their lives are not all they wish they could be. Imagine if they just got up off their asses and stopped playing Mental Health Post Office (by themselves, all alone), and worked to improve their lot in life here in the real world. No doubt to some degree these idiots are nuts, but their real mental illness isn't being "plural" or whatever, but choosing to pretend they are.

Imo it’s actually possible for people to segment their consciousness into a different “section” while undergoing extreme stress. However, these segments are not at all like separate people, they don’t have their own personalities or likes/dislikes or anything like that. It’s more like your usual, conscious perspective shutting down while a robot takes over to do what’s necessary to get you through the event.

If you've seen the shithole that is r/SystemsCringe (reddit's version of this thread, essentially), you will know she is a subject of interest for them. She's a 20/21 year old vtuber (But watch out! She hates being called a vtuber!!!) who primarily talks about "system" related topics.
I don't feel like skimming through a bajillion different things but here's a few posts on reddit that explains why she's so hated and what makes her a cow (it's pretty spergy, but so is Aspen): Post 1 (callout post about aspen), Post 2 (Aspen talking about wanting to fuck Meowbahh in a server full of minors) (tl;dr she's parasocial and nonce-y with minors, brags about how much she is hated by other pluralfags, and other retarded shit).

This "source" shit becoming the main excuse behind shit is such a fucking fake and gay legalese way of getting around admitting you're faking shit. Back in my day people claimed to just literally BE the reincarnation of fictional characters without all this psuedo-legal "source" BS. It just becomes so blatantly more LARP. Might not have already brought this up but the terminology changing from 'fictionkin" to "fictives" because it's system shit and not base level otherkin shit for some reason really makes it feel like i'm developing some kind of aneurism every time I hear it even more than the original.
Overall tiktok and youtube shorts shit turning this from fringe internet stupidity to mainstream-ish enough like they did the subliminal clickbait vids means the cancer will probably fester for the next thousand years or so.

A Twitter/X thread going through all the “problematic” stuff in the children’s doll series Monster High and its associated media has gotten a lot of attention. 70% of the things mentioned are bullshit, and 30%-ish are only problematic if you squint and are chronically online.
Anyways, it tries to claim that the Jekyll and Hyde based Monster High character (Holt Hyde and Jackson Jekyll) are a representation of DID, and therefore problematic because the MH team refers to them having “alter egos” and “being the same person.” These terms are apparently unacceptable and offensive, despite the alternative language being… “alters” and being “plural” (afaik), which mean the same things?
As expected, people who claim to have DID chime in, and the OP suddenly reveals that they have DID too *gasp!* before making another thread elaborating about how the MH Jekyll and Hyde character definitely has DID and thus their previous points are valid.

I see pronouns as the modern day equivalent of the trench coat and fedora.
Back in the 2010's, the trench coat and fedora were synonymous with the pseudointellectual "NiceGuyTM' atheist stereotype. That archetype was the symbol of cringe back then because it was losers trying too hard to be cool but they look liked dorks in the end. A lot of those 'NiceGuyTM' types liked wearing the trench coat and fedora because they're classic articles of clothing. A trench coat goes great with a well tailored suit and a fedora adds to the classic look. I can see why the 'NiceGuyTM' folks wanted to have a trench coat and fedora because if you look at old movies and shows before the 1970's, you had handsome men wearing that attire so they wanted to be the handsome Hollywood man archetype but they lacked the self-awareness that they couldn't be the classic Hollywood handsome man. So the trench coat and fedora went from cool to cringe thanks to the 'NiceGuyTM' people that had an enormous sense of entitlement and repulsive personalities.
I see this as the same with Pronouns. I don't think anyone had an issue with Pronouns until the Left decide to make a big deal out of them. Now and days, whenever I see pronouns on a social media account, I just think of them as the abstract versions of the trench coat and fedora.
