New here and this is likely already mentioned in thread, but a LOT of DID fakers are found on the website Pony Town-and I mean a LOT. If I had to guess it's due to Pony Town allowing for easy character customization and trending on TikTok to a point.

(an example, these people have factives of those minecraft people.)

Something I do not have a picture of but have seen plenty of times is system fakers who call other people fakers. Saying that all "MCYT SYSTEMS ARE FAKE" but being, I dunno a Genshin Impact system or something. Or people against "singlets" (those that do not fake DID)

I assume all of what I've said is pretty common in these communities, it's just the sheer fact they're on a random MLP roleplaying game without even being MLP fans themselves most of the time that baffles me.
I wish kids nowadays would go back to being goth or scene instead of pretending to have mental disorders, which hurts the people that actually have those mental disorders.

Some plurals on Tumblr are passing around a survey. I'd be interested to see the results and what type of identities are the most common to fake. I'm guessing it'll mainly be nonbinary, queers with neopronouns.

Wanted to drop these here because even though they're old screenshots, the person in them, to my knowledge, is still calling themself a system on tumblr, and seeing as they used it to get out of being called out for being abusive and generally shitty, I'd at least share the screenshots I was sent when talking about them with someone they knew.

Here's when they (the faker) shared that they apparently were traumatized so much by the Demon Slayer movie that they formed an alter from said series to comfort their other alters, also from the same series.

Note that none of this is how DID supposedly works at all, but since they're active on tumblr, everyone's heads are too filled with misinformation to realize it's a lie for pity points.

Bonus Note: They roleplay the same characters as the ones they claim to have fictives of, most of which being attractive fan favorites (and usually villains.

Goth and scene kids were still pretending to have depression, suicidal tendencies, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. But the difference is that it wasn't as taboo to call them attention-seeking fakers. Today if you called even the most obviously fake "system" a faker you'd be witch-hunted for "invalidating their identity."

A few days ago, I stumbled on a website called Pluralpedia. Normally, I don't look for these kinds of things on my own, so it's rare for me to come across something so bafflingly batshit. I'm shocked that this site hasn't been brought up here more often. Let me take you down the rabbit hole.

Screenshot (16) - Copy.png

The thing that led to me finding Pluralpedia was a post talking about something called Symptom Holders. So I start typing that into the search bar, and after one letter, already there are a dozen terms glaring me in the face.

Screenshot (17) - Copy.png

There's a lot I could have looked at here, but I had to know what Schizobased was first.

Screenshot (18) - Copy.png

Notice how the only citation is a Tumblr post. I'll get to that. Clicking on the -based Terms brings up a list of similar terms, the first of which being Aetherbased, and this is when I realized just how fucking looney this site was going to be.

Screenshot (19) - Copy.png

"systems whose functions and/or architecture cannot be explained psychologically, or a spiritual-based system." Now like I said, I don't normally look for these kinds of things on my own, so I thought at first that I misunderstood what they were trying to say. Surely there's no way these people actually think DID is a spiritual phenomenon, right? Well....

Screenshot (20) - Copy.png

That's right, these people really do believe that there are cases of DID that can't be explained with psychology and can only be explained spiritually. To make matters worse, they think that some alters are actually possessing spirits and that alters can travel from one person to another.

Screenshot (21) - Copy.png

Now that we have a firm grasp on just how insane these people are, let's get back on track. What is a Symptom Holder?

Screenshot (22) - Copy.png

Now you probably already know this, but mental illnesses can't be "held" by an alter. If you have DID and you have another mental illness, then all of your personalities will have that illness. It doesn't go away some of the time. Of course, we are talking about people that think alternate personalities can be possessing spirits that can travel from one person to another, so it shouldn't be surprising that they don't have a firm grasp on how DID works.

Alright, I've put it off for long enough, let's talk about the flags. The one for symptom holders has a link to someone named cluster brains. Clicking the link brings us to this page

Screenshot (23) - Copy.png

Gotta love how the first thing under the flag is them saying "don't make fun of me or I'll get you banned!" Also note how they tell "anti endogenics" not to interact. An endogenic system is someone who claims to have DID without experiencing trauma. Now, there's a lot that gets debated about when it comes to DID, but one of the things pretty much all psychologists agree on is that trauma must be a factor in its development. Saying you have DID without trauma is like saying you have PTSD without trauma. And if you're wondering what MOGAI/LIOM stands for, MOGAI stands for Marginalized Orientations, Gender identities, and Intersex, basically a special way of saying LGBT, and LIOM stands for Labels and Identities, Orientations, and other Minorities. As you would expect after all that, this person's feed is a goldmine. Here are some of my favorites

This is just the tip of the iceberg. The Schizobased flag leads to another Tumblr page with its own nonsense and I left out a lot of other posts from the Xenic ND, partly because not much of it has to do with DID, but mostly because I'm a lazy fuck. This community is batshit insane and watching it has been providing me with plenty of :story: for some time now.

Interestingly, this is run by Umbral Reaver who's been mentioned across the farms and in this thread before for being an insane cow.

Calling all systems, CALLING ALL SYSTEMS!!!
Why does it sound so much like a line from Plan 9 from outer space?:story: I just get the voice of the MCP from Tron saying the line.

If anything, I’m still confused as to how much time will be spent trying to memorize this whole thing, while trying to still use your personal pronouns. They’re making this pseudo science thing look too contrived to sound like a social experiment.

The results of the Tumblr Pluaral Survey are in!
results are in!.png

Sadly pluralpilled couldn't be bothered to through the data but I've transcribed it all down below. The survey received 500 responses before closing.

45% of respondents said their system was caused by trauma (sure), 26% said it had a mixed origin, 9% said their system was not trauma based and 19% refused to disclose the 'origin' of their system. Furthermore, 47% of respondents said the most common beings in their system were humans and 40% said nonhuman humanoids like angels, aliens, mermaids, centaurs, etc were more common. These questions about what alters people had also had the most insane answers with some people stating their alters were gods, animals, medical conditions, shapeshifters, animate or inanimate objects, living places and more.

Overall, 97% of respondents identify as queer. 62% identified as nonbinary or genderless in some way. Additionally, while nearly 80% of respondents stated they had a cis "member" only 23% said their system was mainly cis. 60% said they were mainly trans and 17% said they were neither cis nor trans.

50% of respondents also identified their sexuality as either mspec (multisexual, bi, pan, poly) or aspec (asexual). 30% said they were attracted to men or women in a queer way while only 7 respondents said they were attracted to men or women in a straight way.

Finally, 44% of respondents said they identified as he/him while only 9% identified as she/her. 27% identify as they/them, 5% as it/its, 11% preferring neopronouns or nounself pronouns (idk what the nounself ones are and I'm not looking it up) and 1% do not identify with any pronouns.

lol at system niggas identifying as hyperthermia

Wtf are kenochoric and transneu?
Kenochoric is "an umbrella term for neogenders related to kenopsia," which is a term coined by the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows meaning "the eerie, forlorn atmosphere of a place that’s usually bustling with people but is now abandoned and quiet."

Transneu is short for transneutral, which means "transgender identity of individuals who identify on the neutral side of the gender spectrum," whatever that means.

Both are fancy ways of saying your gender is defined by being special.

I do not think she's been talked about but this girl seems to have tried the whole spiritually enlightened witch shit to get attention and when that failed went on to become some pastel kiddie life addicted, well whatever the fuck this is.....

And her BF definitely takes advantage of this.... They say it's not sexual but she seems to always been in the " little girl role" and doesn't seem to switch to her " protector" unless it's to tell off the bullies....
