I had no clue these people were still around to this extent, I almost thought that fad died off only to be replaced by transtrenders. Little did I know that the "plurals" would also add transtrender to their list of "mental illnesses".

Like others have said though this mentality is scary. People with schizophrenia, DID, and whatnot aren't living good lifestyles. Look at Terry A Davis, it's clear his mental illness was crippling him to the point where when he died after walking on train tracks people still can't tell if he was trying to off himself or if he was in the middle of another schizophrenia episode.

The rating emotes were added for people in chat to use casually, because there are no ratings in chat. This decision has deteriorated conversation site-wide, given children an excuse to throw lucky charm shit into their post replacing real language, and given absolute fucking speds an 'excuse' to break forum rules by using them to prefix or quarantine paragraphs of their posts as if that fucking matters.

Just fucking stop.

Agreed, it makes the whole post look weird and its annoying that ppl use the emotes to powerlevel. I like that the emotes are there to rate posts themselves but there should be a way to prevent them from being used in the posts themselves.

Yes because plurals/headmates all live inside the persons head (allegedly) and this manifests in roleplaying as these separate "people" but tulpas are imaginary friends + visual hallucinations, and the person with a tulpa treats the tulpa like you would any imaginary friend, a different person with its own "body" whereas the "headmates" all just share a body.

I'm honestly slightly amazed at people not knowing about the multiple community, they've been around for a long time by Tumblr standards. Around the same time as otherkin started cropping up on Tumblr, if I remember correctly. The F-Plus had a great episode about this community circa-2012, featuring some stuff probably lost to time, considering Watchful Entity (and its various incarnations) have went the way of the Library of Alexandria. The only remainder from the era seems to be a few straggling pages, like this one and this one, which have some multiple system shit on it.

The most unfortunate thing that I'm seeing is that these people have actually toned it down since 2012, when people were eating cat litter. Even 2012 Tumblr crazies were better than Current Year ones

Another archive of a page of Watchful Entity's blog, featuring quotes like:
