This is true and it’s also true when you swap the sexes. There are women who feel entitled to an image of the ideal man, probably more of them as well. The only reason we don’t see female incels (at least not nearly to the same extent as males) is that there is a never-ending supply of “men” willing to debase themselves for these women who bring nothing to the table other than their genitalia. Social media (especially Instagram) and online dating apps post-Tinder only exacerbate this.

Have to agree with other posters that you aren’t going to turn an incel into a pussy magnet just by cleaning him up, getting him to lift and teaching him how to talk to women without creeping them out. He’ll just be a presentable and friendly incel then. Women’s standards are much higher than that and some men will never get there and are best off giving up.

Quite a few US spree killers are ex-military; the Sutherland Springs church massacre comes to mind.

Back when goths were relevant they tended to be liberals and a lot of them were women. It's really hard to see much of a link between them and incels; incels mostly fit in with QAnon and other online political retard subcultures. Incels are one of the right-wing ones because of being centred around a warped traditional view of masculinity, but there are also countless sites full of communist spastics too.

The incels of decades ago were still incels, just without the name. Ecole Polytechnique and the Luby's massacre had this kind of offender.

I've just watched the videos of the guy who did this shooting: there was objectively othing wrong with him. he was a bit over weight, but there was videos where he was thinner and looked better. even as a fat lad he'd pul someone. especially if cut his stupid fucking hair and beard a bit.

For the people on here who think women only go for the Chads, that's 100% true for some women, and if "those" women don't like you, you need to adjust your expectations.

The incel mindset (and the troon mindset, really) is putting all women into the category of "fuckable" vs. "unwomen", where anything that they can get becomes an insult to their masculinity while "fuckable" is an ever-vanishing horizon.

The incel mindset is a lot like the mindset of "I wouldn't join any club that would accept me as a member."

In my assessment, men are more likely to pick a woman based on what their dick says, while for women, looks are part of it but there are multiple other factors, so looking like Ethan Ralph isn't necessarily a deal breaker, as long as Pantsu is acceptable for you to nut in every other week.

Men grading women on appearance comes out as a bell curve as you'd expect. Most are average, a few look good (or bad), and a rare few are amazing (or repulsive). With women, that same curve is skewed, so an "average" man to them is an 8/10.

Then you add in women's other requirements. They want a man with money, status, a house, a car, a career, etc.

The end result is your 5/10 incel is rejected by 5/10 women, who want a 8/10 man.

None of this is new information, though. It has been known for a long time (going back to Masters?) that women are less visually driven when describing sexual/romantic attraction. The other things you mention rank higher in importance for them. Being "okay-looking" is like, well, okay. Most guys are "not hideous" but very few are "actually gorgeous" and the "not hideous" category is not subgraded. Guys will tell you there is some massive difference between what they perceive as a 3/10 and a 7.5/10 woman. Women won't. They are both in the "not hideous" but not gorgeous category. So... so what?

So you design a meeting/dating platform where the thing women don't care about so much, but therefore are harder to impress with, is the major sorting factor the app uses to determine whether you connect with someone or not, and are surprised when the question "does his face give u a ladyboner" is answered in the majority with "no, but I suppose if all these other things are good, he's alright, I'd touch his dick"

This is why people say, if you want to meet women, get off fucking Tinder. It's fundamentally poorly designed. Straight guys are never going to be able to attract women with photos anywhere near as successfully as they can in person.

I can't fathom how somebody could bring themselves to pick up a gun and murder innocent people at random like this; especially a father with his 3-year-old daughter. Pure evil.

I'm grateful that this sort of thing is very rare in the UK, although I think we could still do with some review of how someone like this was able to obtain a firearms license. The cuts to mental health services are arguably something worth looking into as well.

True, but apparently he had an apprenticeship as a Crane Controller at a major defence firm since August last year.

If he'd just quietly stuck with that and clipped his barnet he would have been on some really good money and would have been able to move out and get his dick wet, considering he legally owned a shotgun suggests he was involved in a local shooting club, so he already had an interesting hobby too.

Sadly the incel thought process (and society in general really) is based around instagratification rather than actually working at anything.

I might sound a bit daft here but how do some men turn out this way? Is it to do with certain factors like brain problems or abuse?
