An update on this post. The poke'stop and gym are still on site but it turns out my office was not the only one to recieve the email. After speaking to somebody I worked with it was sent to sites across the country as some people had managed to make it inside the buildings.
A friend of my dear mother even had somebody knocking on her door so they could come inside her home to catch a Pokemon.
 
Just how fucking big are your houses that people need to get in to catch Pokemon?
You can touch the Pokemon on the screen from several metres away and it still works.

Seriously.
In my apt complex the twins who wear The Classic were lurking around bushes and crap and I'm thinking wtf just click the damn thing from the sidewalk you speds.

I was just thinking that the people calling Pokemon Go ableist are bigger gamers than they are athletes. Why is being unable to play Pokemon a bigger deal than public places that aren't wheelchair accessible?

PokemonGo finally released on Brazil and i just saw my mom shocked about how a kid in the neighbor city was robbed today. Her exact words were: "What kind of mom lets her 10 year old son catch pokemon alone in the streets?!"

On a community I'm part of on a journal site, someone mentioned they wanted their disabled friends to be part of the fun and wanted a version for them. They got a little butthurt when I mentioned the original games already exist and Sun and Moon are coming out later this year if they wanted to be part of something new. They seem to have missed the point of the "go" part of the title.

You could use some Pokemon map editor to make a rough approximation of that person's area in one of the gameboy games. Otherwise Niantic seems to have fucked up bots and other third party tools for Pokemon GO.
