So, Ryu Taylor's been busy not doing anything important, which is why I find it hard to find stupidity from him worth bringing up that might not be too old [like his sudden 180 change in opinion about the Diamond & Pearl series, where he went from 'it's pretty good' to 'IT GETS A ZERO', since hey, years and people change minds and what-not].
Still, though, this one is particularly stupid.

I think it's hilarious he hates the Japanese Meowth because Maddie Blaustein, Carter Cathcart, and even Nathan Price tried to sound true-to-form with the original voice actress. Meowth's a fucking cat who taught himself how to speak the human language, he's supposed to sound rough.

There's actually a site that documents all of the voice actors. It's amazing how many Japanese voice actors turn out to be hot chicks/hansom dudes, but are doing the voices for weird characters.

I honestly can't tell whose voice is more grating, Inuyama as Meowth or Chika Sakamoto as Agumon, but Inuyama can at least hit notes when singing in that voice.

You know, looking through this thread I'm surprised there aren't more people talking about DistantKingdom apart from a couple of user mentioning him. Would it be considered lolcow to be continuously butthurt that GF didn't deliver the second coming of Christ with SwSh and making video after video just repeating the same overblown shit?

Its a fandom staple. As long as he's feeding outrage to something relatively popular there will be a large number of yes man who defends whatever he says at matter. It's a quick way to gain followers and karma points. I mean ever see the reply of every tweets of Official Pokémon Twitter? Full of those people.

That's a problem in every series with underage characters, but it's definitely out-of-control when it comes to Pokémon since the kids who had crushes on these characters grew up, but never stopped crushing on them. Makes me think if Serebiiforums would've accepted Dattebayo nowadays for his fetish with Dawn's feet instead of openly mocking him for it, although it wouldn't surprise me at all if Bulbagarden never had no issues with his sperging whatsoever (if he was ever on there, I never found him again when he was permabanned).

Wasn't the Evolution movie just the same as the first movie but with overfancied 3D CGI? If yes, how are they presented Nazis? I don't recall a scene where Team Rocket captures Pokemon and gasses them.
I wouldn't say lolcow unless he actually revealed some embarassing information. At worst, he's just a butthurt sperg. Even as someone who really dislikes the state of the franchise and actually agreeing with some of his points, his Twitter is an absolute wince to look at for throwing some stupid slapfights against irrelevant Twitter nobodies. On the bright side, he seemed to stop ranting about it for now unless Game Freak does another oopsie.

Yeah, it's no real different from the first movie. I dunno what the fuck he was going on about during the Tauros-capture scene, although I think they did add a couple more Team Rocket meet-up scenes? I dunno, been a few months since I saw it and the beginning didn't leave much of an impression on me after the Amazon sequence. I was more-or-less paying attention to the animation and redesigns and forgot some moments. Still is a stupid comment.
