I'm disappointed with how they wasted the city setting. Most major cities irl are super diverse and have plenty of potentially interesting environments. Parks, rivers, lakes, abandoned buildings, sewers, construction sites, forests, are some of the biomes I could think of. And a smaller world map could still work IF there's plenty of content in every building and city block...which legends ZA simply doesn't have. I saw a clip of someone going from one entrance in a wild area to another in like 7-8 SECONDS.What gets me so mad about ZA is that they could've been creative with it. This is a POKEMON CITY. We've had entire towns and cities dedicated to one element before, Driftveil City is a mining town that also knows how to decorate itself and spend lavish amounts of money. Lavender Town, ghost central with its giant omnipresent graveyard of hundreds of dead restless Pokemon. You know what would've been fun for a city-exclusive game? Exaggerating it, making it so the power plant or Prism Tower is filled with electronic and mechanical Pokemon. The catacombs and sewers breaking into one another, poison, bug, and ghost Pokemon mingling. This is a Pokemon-themed town, it should be able to have a bit of fun with itself. And I think that's the issue. Legends ZA isn't meant to have fun in, it's meant to keep this bloated brand relevant and marketable.
