Pokémon (Not-So) Griefing Thread - Scarlet and Violet Released with 10 Million Copies in First 3 Days in Buggy States

Does this game have all of the original 150 Pokemon in it? Those are the only ones I care about for the most part and even some of them were scraping the bottom of the "ideas" barrel.

I feel like I get shinies relatively frequently, but only because I don't actively search for them. Instead I get them as a result of breeding or just randomly in the wild. Hatching a shiny riolu in Moon was pretty exciting.

I wonder if there are any competitive (for what it's worth) players here. Have any Kiwis played against each other on game cart or Pokémon Showdown?

I managed to hatch not one, but two shiny Zoruas within minutes of each other in Pokemon Sun myself. Sometimes I get insanely lucky like I did today and hatched a shiny Torchic with its hidden ability and since I caught its grandpappy in the Dynamax Adventures it's in a Monster Ball.

The Pokedex says a lot of things. You should be dead from the moment you set foot in Regice's chamber for example.

I have a theory that the reason why older, mostly millennial fans love Blue and Silver so much is because they can project their childhood bullies on the two characters for their self insert to beat up as wish fulfillment.

Magcargo is hotter than the Sun..and Alakazam has an IQ of 1,200.

There is at least one non-legendary Pokedex entry in every game that is absurd.

In case you needed any extra "Sinnoh shitmakes are happening" clues:

All fossils except Sinnoh's, and while several gens are still missing them Sinnoh suspiciously is the one generation where none of its mythicals have returned. Also the starters are absent, and while Johto, Unova's and Kalos' are absent too, it's been a trend in remakes for you to be able to get other starters in the post-game.

As a side note Johto got screwed over so hard, only Kanto offshoots and legendaries ffs.

Wouldn’t you assume that a Johto remake is also a possibility on the list? Johto has no fossils to have missing, and otherwise everything else applies.

Despite what many are predicting, I don't see a Let's Go Johto being a thing. Let's Go only happened as a ploy to get Go players on the Switch, that and it being Kanto for the umpteenth time (aka the generation they love whoring out the most). Not to mention, do you really think modern day GF would bother with the return to Kanto segment that everyone loves gen II so much for?

I'll eat my hat if I'm wrong, but the iron's hot to strike for Sinnoh nostalgia at this point (all the kids who started with that gen are at that critical young manchild age).

Never played much on Showdown, but I was big into competitive battling back in the heyday of Gen 4, and I've played with stuff and made some "competitive" specced mons in Shield to fuck around in the Battle Tower and online tournaments. I've never gotten too far along the ladder though as I like to experiment and don't just run the stock standard Smogon sets on mons like everyone seems to do these days.

Shit like Choice Band Golurk is too fun to surprise people with.

Edit: I just looked it up and since they added new moves Choice Band Golurk is now a Smogon set too, shit...

You're telling me. I personally like to run quick claw ditto and cucking my opponent's team with their own pokemon. After all, Imitation is the greatest form of destruction.

Cloud Nine Golduck was so fun to screw around with back in those days, getting a bunch of free turns against sun teams because they didn't know It negated Instant Cast Solar beam was always hilarious.

Shame the thing crumpled like a tissue against anything else.
