Something just occurred to me mentally. So these new forms of pokemon.... None of them can appear in the anime unless they somehow do time travel shenanigans.

To be fair to Kleavor, there are only two other rock/bug types with only one of those two having any combat potential (Dwebble and Crustle). Same could be said for Wyrdeer.
Im talking about braviary, and wydeer being psychic
now growlithe and this are both rock.

I mean, didn't the very first series have an episode where Ash and Co found the Gen 1 Fossil Pokemon all living in a cave underground? If they want to have the Ancient Pokemon appear in the anime, they could probably pull something believable enough out of their asses.

Edit - Can confirm, was Episode 46, thank fuck Serebii is almost as autistic as we are

I can see them doing a separate special à la Mega Evolution where there'll be like four episodes or so for Legends. But to do time travel shenanigans, they'll have to bug Celebi for it, and why the hell would Celebi want to take someone to ancient Sinnoh unless it's to explain the Sinjoh Ruins? Dialga might have time-traveling abilities, too, but I don't know why anyone would try to bother with Dialga again after what happened with Cyrus.

They might as well just stick to spin-off specials when it comes to things like this.

They did it before with Arceus after he went on a rampage, beat the meat off of his children so violently giratina is still probably in a coma. I think they went back in time to change history and help free the betrayed god. Then retroactively, Arceus remembers his past self being helped, so he relents.

It happened again with Celebi and the Doomed Timline involving Oak in Pokémon forever, where It’s revealed he’s been waiting for ash all of his life, and cherishes that day where they saved the world.

My spin on it is that Ash has altered the timeline so much on his journey’s he created the setting that would allow for Arceus to give the technology to children of man, and that celebi as a favor kept the timeline in a peaceful progressive state as opposed to the age of darkness and destruction of life we saw in 4ever. It’s why the pokeballs look similar to the wind-up balls that younger Oak used but not quite. This is the timeline where harmony reigned instead of chaos. This is the Arceus game time line, and a way to revisit it is by having Celebi retrieve him, and bringing him into the past as a thanks, to show exactly what he did for the world all those years ago.

Yes, I did just by accident I think make a Shin Megami Tensei game.

Social Media just won’t stop hyping up Ash’s Mega Lucario.

Jeez, why wasn’t there a single rally call for this when Mega Evolution was actually new?
It's been a while since Mega evolution dipped. So they're probably hoping that it means they'll make return in the main games I guess.

Because nobody thought it was a real gimmick until it was revealed exactly what it was. I think the 16th Pokémon movie hurt the reveal, if you ask me, because Mega Mewtwo Y is pretty fugly, and when the Corocoro leaks happened showing Mega Mewtwo Y on the poster, everyone thought it was a bad Photoshop. Pokémon: The Origin showcased it better, but for some of us, it was too late.

two of the first alolan forms revealed to us were Ice Types.

Honestly, I'm not too fussed about a couple of overlaps. Without seeing the full picture, we really don't have any reason to assume a type is flooded, and I imagine that them redoing DP right now has type frequencies on their mind.

...I cannot help but keep looking a that middle rock from Kleavor's head.
I think it's based on a mix between a samurai topknot and prehistoric stone spear tips.

Yeah, we do have an alphabet soup character.

But on a slightly more serious note, let's go over what the article is asking for.

View attachment 2539153

Sorry, non-binary Pokemon? As in, not male, and not female? ... Are you serious? Hey, remember that joke answer, unown? It's non-binary! It's literally genderless, how can you get any more non than the absence of? You're right article, that is a child's plea, because that child can't comprehend what they're asking about.

There are actually not one, but two trainers that are ambiguously gendered, and have popular theories about them being trans. Lorelei and Will are debatable, even though it's a popular theory, but you can't not mention Bugsy.

View attachment 2539171

His in-game data "mistakenly" refers to him as a girl, and it's kind of his only personality trait that he looks like a girl, to the point of Gold in Adventures asking him out on a date. Now maybe that's not extremely blatant, but why would it be? Do they want a character to spot you on the road and go "Hey there, I'm a Pokemon trainer! By the way, I'm ftm transgender."? I would think the best way to introduce a transgender or non-binary character in Pokemon is to just... not mention it? I thought the point of being trans is that people don't know you're trans, that they automatically assume that you're the gender you identify as. Probably not the thread for this talk.

...Still! Non-binary Pokemon? They can literally be genderless! What more do you want?! A Tauros to cut his dick off? A Jynx to be able to be found as genderless and unbreedable?
SO a game based on Darwinian evolution with literal inheritable genetic stats for how good the pokemon is, needs genderless pokemon because...... How is it that "science" and society has completely lost the objective reality that different reproductive organs exist and male and female refer to that observable distinction. A penis and vagina are not on a spectrum. There is not a spectrum of reproductive functionality. (Love pleasure etc are an anomaly and can be considered inefficient evolution or just plain false as they are societal creations) Just because clownfish or whatever can become male doesnt mean little Timmy can be Tiffany. Different creatures different observable conditions. We refer to people in masculine or feminine ways because we humans at this point in history dont walk around with our genitals out (oh wait lgbt weirdos do at pride parades and are still confused). I honestly dont understand the end goal of this stuff what does a non-binary Pikachu even fucking mean? A messed up vagina dick? And you cant say anything about gender because there is no Pikachu society to begin with. Its insane. A complete amorphous reproductive responding creature already exists in Pokémon. What more than ditto do these people want? Its because ditto doesn't actively break what is considered social barriers? Does trans Pikachu need to go into the female side of the daycare? Its so ridiculous and I wish it would stop. Sorry for the rant

“A bad photoshop” perfectly describes Mega Evolution. They really could have salvaged the idea for the anime if they just let Mr “Pokémon Master” use it with at least one of his many Pokémon who deserve using it (Charizard, Sceptile and Glalie to start with).

With the fact that Arceus Legends is based in Sinnoh I could easily see a spin-off movie with Ash involving Dialga time travel to ancient Jubilife.

I don't know if the previous movies involving Arceus, Dialga, and Palkia will be relevant. I've never religiously followed the Pokemon anime after my childhood, are the movies supposed to be canon, or are they generally considered to never have happened in regards to the main series?
