Pokémon (Not-So) Griefing Thread - Scarlet and Violet Released with 10 Million Copies in First 3 Days in Buggy States

I'm just waiting to see how the VC Genwunmons will translate into the 7th Gen, and more importantly, how it's going to cockblock or "clean" anything like the Missingno.

Not sure about you guys but for this generation i want them to make missingno a real official thing that actually exists as a Pokemon.

I mean, we already have a fucking Ice Cream for a pokemon, so this wouldn't be too much worse.

As long as they make it a legit eldritch abomination, I'd be happy with it.

Can't wait for this one to come out,Im kinda hyped to get it and is surprising to me since i have not bought a Pokemon game since 2009 with HeartGold.

/vp/ has compiled some pretty convincing evidence for Hawaii:

Any other of you losers get any free Pokemon stuff today? Or get any 20th anniversary merch? All the Gamestops in a 50 mile vicinity didn't have the exclusive mew plush and won't get it in until the celebi event. :(

At least I got a poster from Gamestop and the promo cards from Toys R Us.

I've been having a blast in Pokemon Blue. My team was pretty lazily put together(2 of my Pokemon are early-game fodder) but it works:

Venusaur
Leech Seed
Toxic
Body Slam
Razor Leaf

Leech Seed and Toxic use the same counter in 1st gen, so with Toxic active Leech Seed slowly heals more and more HP, a fairly evil strategy. For less evil stuff, Razor Leaf almost always Crits due to how critical hits work, making it effectively a 110 Power move that ignores defensive boosts, and Body Slam is for hitting anything that resists grass(outside of Gastly/Haunter/Gengar)

Beedrill
Hyper Beam
Double-Edge
Poison Sting
Twineedle

I mostly keep Poison Sting and Twineedle because they are the best poison and bug moves Beedrill gets in 1st gen. They are only good for hitting things super-effectively. Double-Edge and Hyper Beam are just overall high power moves, the later not needing to recharge if you KO the opponent with it.

Raticate
Hyper Beam
Body Slam
Super Fang
Dig

Hyper Beam and Body Slam do massive damage thanks to the STAB boost they receive due to Raticate being a Normal type. Super Fang is the best way to weaken Pokemon you want to capture since False Swipe doesn't exist in 1st gen and Dig hits everything in 1st gen that is resistant or immune to normal attacks super-effectively except for Aerodactyl who is outright immune to ground attacks.

Dugtrio
Earthquake
Dig
Slash
Rock Slide

Dugtrio has similar coverage to Raticate, except it is Ground instead of Normal, and has Rock Slide to deal with Aerodactyl. Dig and Earthquake are both on this set to have a lot of PP for long dungeons, Slash almost always deals a critical hit similar to Razor Leaf mentioned above.

Slowbro
Psychic
Surf
Ice Beam
Amnesia

I needed a Pokemon with Surf, so I went with Slowbro. Amnesia boosts Special into the Stratosphere, making it a threat both offensively and defensively, and the three remaining moves hit everything in the game except Starmie and other Slowpoke/Slowbro for at least neutral damage.

Mew
Cut
Fly
Strength
Flash

Used the Mew glitch to get one for the purpose to not give my combatants useless moves just to get around the field, since Surf is the only truly good HM move in 1st gen.

I love Grass Pokemon. I think Gen2 had the best starters, and my love for Bulbasaur and Chikorita far outweight my like for the other starters.
And I've been really really disappointed with the Grass starters from gen 4 onward. I really hope we get something neat this time. And a decent cat Pokemon. I think I'll be getting Sun version.

Oh, and I'm basic and I love Eeveelutions fiercely and hope we get more with Sun and Moon.

I usually go for the fire starters, but I actually really dug Snivy in BW/BW2.

Another game announced and it's yet another F2P mobile one!

According to Serebii.net: It is a strategy board game on the mobile devices where you collect virtual figures, each with their own unique attributes, to make a deck and try to defeat your opponent. It is 1 Player, but has online play, and free to play, having some purchases within the game software.
