Always liked dragons, even after the Fairy nerf

Gaze upon that majesty!

Side note: I missed the promotion to get a mew and just realized this....FUCK
On the positive side, only Mew, Darkrai, Arceus, and Genesect are GameStop exclusive; the other eight are/will be obtainable via Nintendo Network (meaning one for each copy of a Gen 6 game you have).

A few people have been theorizing that this new game will be based on Hawaii. What do you guys think?

I think it's way too soon and the crazy speculating is.. well, crazy. One theory I heard is that it was set in the Mediterranean because there was a Horsea on a fountain, and the Mediterranean has a seahorse on a flag or some shit, like really? People need to chill out.
I always chose the water type starter myself right up to the latest generation, then I chose Fennekin because I thought it was cuter. Yeah, I don't care if it's supposed to be crap, I like the wizard fox. My favourite type is fairy now I guess since they rectonned a lot of my favourites into fairy. I have 22 shiny Pokémon, two are same event Pokémon though.
Also, how come America gets plushes and posters?! All Europe gets is a code!

Have you seen the gear and stuff Japan got for the 20th anniversary?

True there is a lot of speculation that is going on with where this new game is based on.

If you want to get really jealous, you should check out the Nintendo world in nyc. There have a section just dedicated for Pokemon plushes, toys, etc. it's definitely cool!

But I hope there's a 3ds special edition for this game. I haven't gotten the new 3ds one yet, but I hope to get one I really like.

Oh no, no, I already have masses of Poképlushes.
But they weren't free.

RE: Favorite Pokemon
As a kid, it was Jigglypuff, hands down. Because it's cute, pink, and sings. Also Mew. As an adult playing the games, Gen 6 introduce Flabebe who is god-tier and adorable. I also love Goomy and Dratini/Dragini. And I like Mudkipz (lol, meme.)

Also, who said Fennekin was crap? Fennekin/its evolutions are great.
Last playthrough of Pokemon X, I reset to get a Fennekin with a good nature and ended up getting a female Fennekin (who had a good nature.) My French teacher from high school had just died and who I really loved a lot, and her name was Victoria. I named my Fennekin Victoire after her (French for 'Victory'/French for of Victoria) since Kalos is based off of France
But the first two or three gyms are weak to either fire or psychic, so Fennekin is actually really useful.

I'm so excited for Pokemon Sun/Moon. I'm disappointed it looks like we won't be getting Pokemon Z, but ah well. I'll probably take Moon, and my husband will take Sun. It all depends on the legendaries, though. He's not nearly as picky about them as I am.

Basically anyone who takes the game far too seriously. :( Apparently it has a shit moveset, but who cares? It's a freakin' wizard fox, look at it.
My favourite is Flaaffy. ...And Clefairy. And Zigzagoon. And Gardevoir. And Meowth. And Furret. And Mudkip. And Musharna. And Altaria. And Helioptile...
Uh, let's just say I have a lot of favourites.
I'm working towards a shiny crobat because it's pink.

Yeah, there are a ton of Pokemon I love. I could go on and on. SKIDDO!

I guess that makes sense, but I've also never played competitively. I've only played for the fun of it, and really, as it is, Pokemon is a super easy game. So I guess that's part of why I never thought of Fennekin-line as shitty.

I ended up skipping out on fourth generation (which is still my least favourite generation for a number of reasons), and got a 3ds with Pokemon White after having played Pokemon Emerald for well over three-hundred hours on one save file. Was kinda sad because my well-bred Aggron couldn't get carried up to my most recent game.

Oh well - shit happens.

Aggron will always be my fave tho.

May I ask what these reasons are? Since you didn't even play them, I'm guessing they weren't all just gameplay things.

Well, I played them after the fact, and even then I didn't enjoy them. But it was mostly that I wasn't at all interested by the new pokemon - not that it'd be easy to top how many favourites I had in third gen, but the starters seemed especially uninteresting.

Biggest reason I didn't play fourth gen was because I missed out on getting a DS, honestly. I ended up playing Platinum later - it felt a lot slower for some reason, though I don't suppose my obsession with having an equally leveled full team helps out much in that regard.

Wasn't too fond of fifth either, which was a similar case to fourth gen in that I didn't like most of the new pokemon. Ended up ditching my starter as soon as I got a half-decent pokemon to replace it.

Sixth gen has definitely rekindled my enjoyment in pokemon though - they kinda had me at Aegislash.

Fennekin is such a cute pokemon! I just love it's second evolution, braxien, and im hoping to cosplay as a human version of it one day. I'm not too fond of its finally evolution though. It's just doesn't seem to fit the theme of the fennekin line.

In terms of favorite pokemon, I love Absol, Houndoom, Zoura, Victini, etc. There's so many to like!
I'm hoping to make a well balance team for this game~
