To be fair Beedrill has more in common with wasp and hornets than it does bees, the coloration and its highly territorial nature are big giveaways.
The asian giant hornet (beedrill irl) is nightmare fuel its stinger can easily tear humans flesh apart and only five stings are lethal. They can even remember human faces.
Autists getting mogged by hornet chad.

It's interesting that they're so anal on categorising mythicals and legendaries internally, but most players don't really know the difference.
Yeah it doesn't make a big diff but Type Null and Silvaly fans must be happy (despite confirmation in SuMo code and pokedex bg), and Phione fans in shambles, all - 4 of them.

Really cool stuff.
How disappointing, it doesn't mangle the actual design of the maps, what that guy has done is just give everything a wrong warp. Aka door A takes you to exit BK, door B takes you to exit E, etc. Other than doors and entrances not leading to where they're supposed to, the map itself is unchanged.

Male hornets, wasps and bees don't have stingers. It would defeat the point of Beedrill anyway. But maybe the male should have smaller stingers? When I first saw Combee I thought of the carpenter bee because the male has a mark on its face. But with Combee it's the female who has the mark. Probably just coincidence.

Doesn't hawaii have a big problem with chickens that make them violent?

How would you cut this?
Remember, they cut Oddish line so you can't have Bellossom naturally in Alola, despite it not only being perfect for the hula dress aesthetic but there also being a trainer class this pokemon would go perfectly with.

From what I've read Hawaii's issues with chickens is a complex one.
  • There are feral populations of domestic chickens on multiple islands (Kona seems to have avoided it, although they are dealing with invasive coquí frogs). The assumption among locals is that said populations are the result of Hurricane Iniki destroying chicken coops across the state, including those used to house fighting chickens.
  • They hybridize with populations of red junglefowl that the ancient Polynesians brought to Hawaii when they arrived.
  • Laws regarding the capture of feral chickens by civilians is a grey area. You can catch then if they're feral domestic chickens but if they're red junglefowl you'll be in violation of certain local laws (the Migratory Bird Treaty is mentioned in some articles but they're all from 2021 and the list species protected by the MBT was altered in 2023).
  • It's expensive to catch 'em. Honolulu spent $7,000 to catch 'em in 2022 and they only ended up nabbing 67 birds, resulting in each bird costing $104. According to press reports the high costs is in large part due to people destroying and/or vandalizing the traps.
  • The only people that seem to have a problem with 'em are transplants moving to Hawaii. The locals don't mind them and, outside of a rooster crowing at 4 in the morning and harrassing you when you eat outside, tourists think they're charming.

We finally got Gigantamax in Pokemon Go, and holy shit did they drop the ball with Dynamax and Gigantamax. You actually need 9-39 people to do these fights, and even with 39 people you're still not guaranteed a win let alone a Pokemon if you're lucky enough to beat it. That's right: you needed 30+ people to beat a Pokemon with a feature you can't even use anywhere else, and it's chances of running away from you are very high. They kicked off Gigantamax with the Kantos, but they were impossible for most players. Charizard and Blastoise were very hard because Blast was tanky af and Char nuked players instantly. To add insult to injury, the rewards were fucking garbage. Some people never caught a Gigantamax Kanto or took forever to get one. Nobody liked the Gigantamax fights, and it got to a point nobody really wanted to do Gigantamax Gengar last weekend. Niantic tried to fix Gengar's fight for Halloween by making it "easier" and give 25k worth of Stardust per victory, but people were still struggling to beat it. The internet wasn't very nice to Niantic when it promoted the Gigantamax Gengar event:

I think this current season tops the Spring Season for worst season of 2024 because Dynamax and Gigantamax sucked, raid Pokemon are still broken and buggy, and Pvp is a lost cause. Oh yea, Gigantamax fights cost 800 photon energy to participate in the fight, and the most you can get in one day is...800 photon energy. This is a giant fuck you to f2p players. You better buy those energy packs if you want the most out of Gigantamax Pokemon, goyim. They're trying to get people to get out and play together, but this and elite raids are not the ways to do it at all. I can't even get people to do Shadow raids.

It really feels like they hate every rural player after removing the covid buffs. Not to mention, there aren't many counters for gengar even in the current rotation, so it's a bigger fuck you.

After months I got back to Hoenn Adventures since I was storylocked due go a bugged item (Devon Scope), but now I found working cheats that allowed me to pass the chameleons and go to the gym.

The gane is quite beautiful, they changed the designs of the cities and it has pokémon life all around the place

The biggest problem is the leveling, I activated the exp all and my team is 20 levels ahead and I didn't even grind.

Also there are lots of text that is still untranslated.

I forgot but I quite like the function that after you beat a gym leader, you get a double battle next like a Second phase boss battle, such a cool concept that should happen more in pokemon games.

Hoenn here is one of the most beautiful in GBA, and the design barely changes, new tiles just gives new life to it.
