Pokémon (Not-So) Griefing Thread - Scarlet and Violet Released with 10 Million Copies in First 3 Days in Buggy States

I think lava cookies are neat cause they're part of a series of local specialty items that add some ingame worldbuilding.

This game's been out for months, where have you been?
I hadn't paid any attention to any new announcements so Awkward Zombie's comic today made me go "That's a thing?". Honestly never heard anything about it, and even then, it looks kinda dumb. Art's okay, but you can tell the art director is on/checks out Tumblr with the "uwu soft" look.

And they called it a Nintendo theme park, where's Star Fox, Zelda or Pikmin, even Disney World knows to cater to there fans.
Funnily enough Pikmin ARE present in Super Nintendo World, they're basically the park's equivalent of Disney's Hidden Mickeys.
That said you'll be waiting a LONG time for the rest of 'em, the only other Nintendo property that's being considered for other Super Nintendo World locations (so far) has been Donkey Kong Country.

But from what I understand Pokemon's licensing is a bit funky. Rather than going to Nintendo itself for the Pokemon license Universal would have to go to The Pokemon Company International to get it.

There was a Pokemon Theme Park in Japan waaaay back in the Gen. 3 days in 2005. It didn't last very long, and almost all of the rides were meant solely for children.

It didn't last very long because the park was temporary by design. Japan does that a lot for themeparks based on a single, specific property. They also are able to be taken apart and moved to a different part of the country(Or in the case of the Pokepark, Taiwan), similar to most carnival and county fair attractions.

What are the chances of the direct giving us some news? Im going to say its low since they'd probably want their own direct for it.

Why the fuck can’t I buy these at Super Nintendo World?
I hate how that entire park is just soulless Mario shit.
Soulless is the subjective word here, I was very impressed by things like having animatronic Goombas and Pirahna plants right out in the open, costumed characters that are actually able to blink and stuff, the video windows in the Toad cafe that really make it feel like the Mushroom Kingdom is right outside...this place is really going to give Disney a run for their money.

Oh yeah Universal is the kings of merging tech with theme park rides in a way Disney fucks up with stuff like galaxy's edge
now back on topic, I think they could take a pokemon park and do wonders with sort of technology, imagine pokemon go but instead of ar cameras, you scouring around parks and seeing recreated environments that you can interact with, now that would be revolutionary.
