Praise be to Allah. The last thing a women's prison needs is a man who is mentally unable to even comprehend the simple concept of personal boundaries. Although, being around a whole bunch of prison women may teach him something, or leave him shanked in the showers.

They call it a spectrum for a reason. "Autistic" can mean a great software developer or mechanical engineer, married with kids, perfectly managing his upper middle class household, who just has a little trouble making eye contact or picking up on unspoken emotional cues. It can also mean an adult who can't speak or read, can't stop self-harming, and can't understand any educational concept more advanced than the kindergarten level.

The fact that Chris can maintain a website, drive, track a conversation, put himself in the mind of others enough that he knows when he needs to lie about what he's done, and even understand that he should wait for his day in court and not flip out on the cops when he's being arrested (which plenty of people with no diagnosis don't seem to grasp) indicates that when medicated he could probably do at least an average warehouse or food service job. It's on his parents for never getting him the emotional training he needed to tolerate a working week.

I wonder... imo either he’s having a full blown mental breakdown right now or he is completely fine & oblivious. There’s probably no one better at retreating into a fantasy world, so maybe he’s fine being in isolation. Food (albeit very shitty food) brought to him ever day, no need to work or do anything.

On the other hand, as you mentioned, he’s been deprived of his toy hoard. No access to creepy fetish porn either. Idk
