It's mandatory in California. Any man who wants to just calls himself a woman. Gavin Newsom signed the law last year. It's still not exactly a plague but the number is in the hundreds and includes sex predators against women. So now it's not "almost never" at least in California, at least as of a couple years ago.

And the burden is on the state to prove there are "serious security concerns" before they can turn down such a request.

No man guilty of sexual crimes should EVER be in ANY women's prison, no matter what they do. The fact that troons publicly and openly defend a mother rapist like Chris and think he should be has fully convinced me this policy is absolute shit and should be abolished and not allowed to spread out of California like a cancer across the entire country.

Yeah in my very limited research, only Cali had any results as for as possible mixing. And from the 2 articles I glanced at, the big issue is that while the trannies are supposed to be transferred, nobody is actually doing it yet. Mainly I was trying to dispel the runaway notion that guys like Chris all over the country are checking “F” at intake and are knee deep in captive pussy a day later.

I’m making a guess here, that instruction lasted for... let’s call it 10 minutes, before someone asked him something, and between the autism and the narcissism he couldn’t stop himself.

We might have to start sending Chris’ lawyer alcohol - might be the only way the guy gets through this before he says “No” to Chris and Chris asks for a new lawyer...

Another answer could be that he truly thinks himself as above the law, above what you and I perceive as too far, as you said he is used to wrist slaps, so whats one more? I know we state he could never kill someone, but I think with his mindset and how he has been raised he probably thinks he could have gotten away with it, its not something that is out of left field with him given his angry and violent tendencies. Remember in his mind he truly believes himself to be the hero, all the Sonichu comics and fan fics he wrote where he wins, he truly believes that because he was raised to think he was that. This comes down to a theory I have had for years about "main character disorder" but, with Chris he's gone beyond that into a legit delusion.

The stupid thing about this whole discussion is that prisons regularly house trans people and openly gay people (especially men/trans women) with other trans and gay people, separate from general population. People don’t hide their sexuality and gender identity the way they did even 10 or 20 years ago and prisons are adapting accordingly.

So there’s no reason for Chris to go to a women’s prison at all unless there’s no prison he can go to with special units for LGBT inmates, which is unlikely in current year. You don’t have to serve your sentence in the state in which you were convicted. A well known and recent example of this is Chris Watts (what is it with dudes named Chris being bat shit crazy?) who killed his entire family. He was convicted in Colorado, but was transferred to Dodge Correctional Facility in (I believe Wisconsin) shortly after the end of his trial.

Most prisons are privatized nowadays and they’re owned by super ridiculously wealthy corporations. Corporations exist solely to produce capital. No contractor who isn’t all the way outside of their mind is going to risk the lawsuits and PR shit storms that would come with housing LGBT inmates with inmates who would rip them limb for limb almost as soon as they hit the pod. State prisons might be a different story, but there honestly aren’t many left so I don’t see why it would even be an issue. They can sentence him to serve his time anywhere they want.

Twitter needs something to cry about today so here we are. The only reason I could see this being a problem is because of overcrowding but since COVID, a lot of prisons (and ICE detention centers) have been reducing the number of nonviolent detainees from their census. In my state, they were taking van loads of people to the state capital for quick appeal hearings every day for months last year. California is pretty much always over crowded in general, let alone their prisons, so maybe it’s a bigger problem there. Can’t speak on that, but I do know they also send people to different states to serve their time depending on the severity of their crime. They’re not just gonna let a murderer out for over crowding, but they let people out early for less serious offenses.
