That's on one count of incest and rape, and he raped Barb 15+ times.

The prosecution would be remiss if they didn't take that into account. He could get concurrent sentences.

Yes and No. it is possible for a convict to be such a drain on resources that the Jail or Prison just does not want them. And The management will lobby hard at the Judge and DA to find an alternative. Most often Home Confinement. This is generally the morbidly obese with major health problems. Boogie will almost certainly fall within this category. Chris not so much. They don’t want anyone that looks like they will drop dead within a month in jail. It tends to lead to annoying paperwork.

Who knows how in-depth the investigation is, and what it's going to turn up. As it stands, Chris has unwittingly confessed to multiple, incestuous rapes, and violated a protective order so he could get his hands on mall money. As for the elder abuse charges, that turns on whether Chris is a "responsible person" and Barb an "incapacitated person" under VA law. But those are potential felony counts, too.

DAs habitually charge everything they can arising out of the same transaction, event or occurence, if for no other reason than the enhance their bargaining position in plea discussions. I expect the list of charges to be extensive and ghastly, but they'll all boil down to the same thing: a retard banged his demented mom.
 
Everyone keeps asking why he is smiling in all of his mugshots like it's so unfathomable, and it's very simple, this is the face of a man who has thus far never suffered a single consequence of any of his actions and is fully confident he won't this time either.

In his long history of police interactions never gotten more than a stern finger wag. Why would he think he would get any worse this time? Is his mind he is immune to consequences and everything will return to the status quo sooner or later.
