TLDR; I can still do everything I used to do, but it's slightly more annoying and a slight inconvenience to UI.

However, since then I used other features of the site and I think keeping sticker notifications and replies on separate tabs might be a better option than what we were doing previously if we do ever decide to bring them back.

I didn't take any because I didn't really care. He basically only became a mod to fuck with people.

A drastic change done at the drop of a hat over what seems like non-emergency reasons is a cause for some concern, regardless of the change and your view imho. In my opinion, with these changes I don't really give stickers to posts anymore because the act is kinda meaningless. Which if translated to a general apathy in the userbase will break the highlights feature, which is by far one of the best features of the forum, which would be unfortunate. Which itself is a secondary knock-on effect of a knee-jerk change.

Personally, I hope stickers and points go and stay away, but I don't think major changes like this should be done without some consideration and planning.

In all seriousness it's not the end of the world. I also used sticker notifications to keep tabs on threads with engagement. I did also like seeing people's reaction scores, especially negative ones. It was funny to see who could sink the lowest. That's about it. I do think it should be a choice but it's not that big of a deal. Like mentioned there are ways around the notifications and the score is just reddit karma.
