The hate for Null wanting to allow women to have a space is also strange. Firstly, that has nothing to do with opinions on stickers. Secondly, so what? He has said before that women don't have a place anymore and so he's letting them have one on his site. That does not equal giving up control of his site for e-pussy. That means that he's following the same exact ideological line he has stated having in forever; the idea that women and men are different and that women should have their own spaces to discuss their own problems. He gave men their own space in turn. Men got mad and tried to invade the woman space, as they have in every other online community, and got punished for it. The horror.

It's not really like that though, it's not that they're just in their own little space. It's that the influx of these users have largely shifted the culture of the site, both because they spill over the other boards and because certain threads suddenly became their property (Stinkditch). Even within those threads, you got to see the sudden shift in what type of discussion was being had as soon as those threads changed location. Mischaracterising friction rising from this as "THE MEN got angry at women FOR EXISTING!!!" is so tiresome because it gets pulled literally every single time radfems (Not women in general) hijack a community and slowly begin influence it. There's also the fact that Null has stated he has a bias for that part of the site.

People who are bringing this stuff up are not sitting here shaking their fists because "grrr women". This site existed fine for years with plenty of female users. These aren't just female users though, these are TERFS. And those of us who have seen this song and dance happen a million times know what's coming. It may not seem bad now, but there are plenty of diseases that go unnoticed until they reach the terminal stage.

Anyway, I think for most of us who are still bitching in this thread it's not really about stickers anymore. This whole discussion brought forth a bunch of issues that have been slowly bubbling beneath the surface and I think it just turned to a lot of us airing our grievances for shit we've been noticing but have generally been quiet about. At the end of the day, I really like this site, and I want its existence to continue, but while we seemed to be winning against all our enemies on the outside, it just feels like the site is at risk of self-immolating. The sticker changes felt like every other big gay faceless website and corporation doing a stupid change that the majority of people don't like, but it will never get changed despite community outcry. While jannies and their dickriders smugly tell everyone who complains to go fuck themselves. I thought this site was different, so I found this all quite disheartening.

Ultimately I can begrudgingly adapt to these changes like I adapt to every other dumbass change websites make which restrict functionality. So long as I can gossip about weird people on the internet and type out slurs, things will be alright. But I worry about the site's future, even if we manage Total Kiwi Victory and lawsuit rape every motherfucker and banish Liz Fong to the shadow realm forever.

Plenty of people in this thread talked about how they used them as pseudo bookmarks for busy threads or when they looked at a bunch of threads, or as a reminder to check back on threads that they haven't checked in on in a while. They also worked as a way to just say "I agree" without having to type it out. I personally liked them as a way to receive feedback for my posts, and they were just fun tbh. They made the site feel more alive (maybe this will change after I get used to no stickers). I don't like the idea of taking all this away because a few retards are having meltdowns and going into hiding because of puzzle pieces and top hats, but at this point we're probably not going back, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think there is an argument to be made where it's a more efficient use of everyone's time to inform someone that their opinion is garbage with the simple click of a button assigning them a trashcan instead of quoting them and telling them "your shit is all retarded and you talk like a fag lmao"
