People opening a thread, scrolling to the bottom, and posting the same thing 5 other people said is till going to happen. Most of them do it because they are sure they were the only one smart enough to come up with it. Maybe it will help with featured threads but, It happens in threads with less than 5 pages too.

I do appreciate that you showed and explained the behind the scenes systems to everyone. Even without reaction stickers notifications being a thing there will most likely still be users complaining about negative feedback. Sometimes stickers were used as a way to show someone's opinion of a post without having to make another basic pointless one.

Site culture to my understanding generally went along the lines of ignoring bad or negative reactions and not dwelling on them. A minority of users complained about the system, the majority as shown in this poll in this thread at the very least liked sticker notifications being a thing. Push back to the change was always going to happen to some extent by siding with the less popular position.

None of it matters though since ultimately what is good for Null is good for the Kiwi Farms.. You are the operator of it so this is understandable regardless of what others may feel, be they for or against the feature. Those who really don't like the change will stop posting or contribute less, those who want to go on will simply adapt.

I don't really give a shit about total stickers, but the notifications are useful. They give incentive to go back to threads and continue contribution. Not because of the ratings themselves, but because people like me are fucking lazy and tend to forget what they posted and where. I think threads will just slow down without them.
