I like you.
:feels:
Thank you for the solidarity brotherman :feels: I never got to use the 🤗, for I was busy catching up in the drama, so it's much appreciated.

On another topic, maybe this has been asked already, but has Null ever reversed any changes he's made because of user feedback? He seems very deadset on this. Harrowing.
alas our erverlerd is a persistent fellow so i doubt it

You were implying that you would have to repeatedly check every post you make if it weren't for your precious sticker notifications, and my point is why the fuck are you so fucking desperate to know about every. single. sticker. reaction. you. get. beyond the general reaction to your post after a day or so? Why the fuck would you need to check any more after that? If stickers are so vital that you would have to compulsively check every post every fucking day then you're more updoot obsessed than Reddit's finest.

Are you genuinely, actually fucking illiterate? That is the exact opposite of what I said.
You literally say you care in the next sentence. :story:
I think it's interesting what other people think of what I say, and I never check the posts after I make them, so it's annoying to basically never know because some retards couldn't use DMs right.

I have the notifications off and generally don't care, but I think people should definitely be given the option so I'm voting yes. Honestly, all the changes to the site in such a short amount of time are kind of funny. I can't help but think of them in a jokey "this'll all be over by the weekend" kind of way. Looking forward to the future when this is remembered as that one week where Null kinda just fucked with a lot of the basics of the forum for fun and everyone had serious debates about it for some reason.

:agree:
This is probably been said before but the notifications were a good way to measure engagement. If I got 1-2 stickers on a post, people are looking at the thread but most likely theres nothing new, but if I got something like 10+ reactions, then the thread must be poppin' off and worth looking at.

Seeing a bunch of ambiguous green dots on the watched thread wall with no idea how many new posts there are does not make me want want to spend time to check every single of one of them, especially if I watch a bunch of threads that move at different speeds.

Theres a phenomena where if people are presented with too many choices, they fear they will chose the wrong one and miss out on the rest. To avoid this FOMO, they just elect to not make a decision and go somewhere else thus decreasing sales or engagement. An example of this is an ice cream shop that sells 4 favors vs one that sells 25. The one that sells 4 flavors gets more business because people are forced to make an easy decision that requires little thinking with not as much FOMO as the shop with 25.

Im sure Serbian universities have courses on decision science and behavioral economics.

No, because I don't check it, because it isn't worth the effort and I don't care about the points. It's nice to see what people think when it pops up in alerts, but as I said it is not worth it to check my old posts 24/7. You are stupid.

Whats even the point of dropping a MATI sticker on someone if it wont make them seethe ?
🎩 but actually 🤗, if it still existed, so have a ❤️

Look on the bright side; if you quote them, now they have to click on the notification to see if people think their post is good or retarded. It's a surprise!

I voted no. But I don't really care. I turned the notifications for stickers off.

This is the way to go if you don't want to deal with sticker notifications. I am sorry for notifying you but I have also typed text here to make it more meaningful.

User base in shambles and it's deeply concerning. Retrain your brain. Research dark patterns. Turn off notifications on everything except direct person to person communication. Look up some reading recommendations on how to not be a screen addict. Say exactly what you want to say without internally hemming and hawing over a notification-controlled dopamine hit. I am frowning at these posts.

:winner: Some people don't want things that go against their dogma gaining traction. It's an excellent way to minimize impact if a particularly spicy subject comes up.
