Poll: Is it time to retire this forum? - Does Phil REALLY warrent a full forum any more?

I think deleting it might be too far, privating it like before could be what goads him into doing shit again. That's what happened last time at least.

Another thing is a lot of the shit we got was from specific people who had inside knowledge and were in phil's online circles to keep tabs on him, mainly Ravenor. With Ravenor gone, we've basically just had only stuff phil releases himself.

Most of the content we got last time the sub was privated was Phil bouncing and squeaking on other cows’ social media in the hope that we’d talk about him where he could see us.

I’m quite enjoying the fact that Phil is reading this, terrified we’ll delete the subforum, but unable to say anything without giving away the fact that he needs us.

As much as it pains me to say this given the historical value of one of the earliest cows who has accidentally managed to become the literal posterboy of modern communism given how many times his potato face shows up in photocomplilation maymes, he hasnt done anything interesting since pretending to cut his own dick off last year.

Its just the same shit over and over again without any difference or any amusing payoff unlike modern Mega-cows like Yaniv or Brianna, so I would vote for a new thread with a refresher of his antics and more amusing escapades, and then archive this forum until and unless something major happens...and by major I mean "he literally commits a mass shooting" major.

Until then, hes probably a good couple of orders of magnitude less interesting and relevant than Moviebob and Dobson tier cows and thus should be reduced to basic thread.

It’s hard to predict which cows will go the distance. In Tooter’s case, I can see why he got a subforum, but now it’s just boring videos where he does boring shit for half an hour. Yaniv has exceeded many people’s expectations (mine included). Wu’s is slow-moving, but there is at least variety.

1/2 of the people you could easily put as subforums to Rat Kings, ALR could fit as a subforum to Beatuy Parlor, (I can see arguments for the remaining cows not fitting as neatly) but I feel like the current front page or nothing approach to making individual cow subforums lacks flexibility to respond to activity peaks and valleys. We end up ballooning threads into messes when a cow has a prolonged activity burst that might be easier to archive in a subform setting but then are stuck with ghost towns like this clogging up the front page when the cow hasn't done anything in months.

I like the suggestion someone else had to put Phil as a subforum of Rat Kings but think we should be doing the same with other cows that fit within a board's culture like Tooter and others. Basically, what I'm saying is that having only 3 options: frontpage subforum, individual thread, or retired forum in spergatory, seems constricting, though it opens up to more of a Kiwi forum organizing discussion than a Phil-specific one.

On the one hand, I do get some enjoyment out of seeing us pick apart his bullshit like a bunch of piranha feeding on a bloated cow, on the other he has gotten stale. I wouldn't be opposed to having the thread consolidated and maybe moved to another forum, (not Rat King though, Phil isn't a true-and-honest troon, just a wannabe troon) and if this were to be shut down perhaps we could post a Victory over Phil image to commemorate our crushing a stupid potato-boy under our jackboot heel. TBH I think it's pretty exceptional to be obsessed with what Phil will think about this. Glad this option is being floated. When Philthy first appeared, he was like a Frankenstein's monster patched together from the remains of Transtrenders, nut-Leftists, Oogles, and Autists at their ugliest, stupidest, and most self-destructive. His ability to fail spectacularly at virtually everything he undertook, no matter how trivial, was breathtaking, and made even epic fuckups like OPL and Tommy Tooter look functional and competent in comparison. These days, however, he's just boring -- a failure at failing, if you will.
I recommend consolidating his forum into a single thread. If he does anything particularly noteworthy, we'll still be informed.
