I think most people can spot the difference between spam and harmless self promotion. Also, if allowed it may produce more content when retards advertise their bizarre or otherwise bad passion projects. Win win imo.

Looks like my sign from God has appeared: my Onlyfans arrival is fuckin' imminent.

@Null.

Create a new board for people to advertise whatever deranged shit they want. It will raise the profile of KWF in a positive way. Make rules that only PERSONAL products are advertised, not ones created by another company.
Maybe create a new free tier where they can only access the advertisement board, as a way for people to have plausible deniability. "I didn't know they could say niggerfaggot! I'm just here to self promote!" and give them their own tag.

However, do not let these people dictate what can and cannot be said on the farms. If some shit-weasel wants to advertise a massive product on here and gains serious popularity, don't also let them begin to dictate the direction of the farms because "it hurts my product."

I approve but for selfish reasons. Occasionally some retard will show up to pitch something extremely lulzy and we get a new lolcow thread out of it.

Last one I can think of was that autistic black guy and his manga where he was a Korean high school student fighting zombies or some shit.

That was funny.
There was that other one who advertised a book called "Illusory Sun" with this weird family drama prefacing the ad. That was a great thread.

I think it should be limited to creative works (books, games, music, etc) or something that took that person’s time and effort to do. I think the line should be drawn at podcasts, livestreams, etc lest we end up breeding our own lolcows.

If its relevant and not annoying you should allow it imo.

A large-ish subreddit/discord i was active in a decade ago had a hard rule against self-promotion and it always felt very misguided, the only people it affected were users posting their very genuine passion projects that were extremely relevant to the topic at hand.
After the mod team changed they dropped that rule and a lot of people started their own little projects and storefronts for the stuff they made, which for the most part still exist and are fairly successful.

The only caveat is they can't come crying to you if they get their own thread for being a sperg.

I say leave it be for now but if it becomes more frequent, maybe add a sub board for shameless plugs so a user has to go out of their way to be exposed to ads.
Onlyfans manwhore? Ban
Selling your comic or handmade goods? I can tolerate.
Yes, TAD however, there's a night and day difference in character if you're willing to put your name and product next to the mass murder website known as the Kiwifarms.

As someone who has made art of cows, yes it would be nice. It would be even better for the farms to be destigmatized for artists, and if allowing self-promotion helps that, then by all means.
