I've listened to her first album earlier last week. It sounds like fake pop music they made for a sci-fi movie. It's a really specific feeling, and that's the best way I can articulate it.

EDIT: Yes, I get that it's supposed to be like that on purpose.

It actually is fake pop music though. She literally called herself "Poppy" while mocking pop music tradition and, despite that, writing formally perfect pop songs with sometimes Moz-tier lyrics ("Adored" is hilarious) and mocking her own audience.

Mars Argo was really great, too, but I found her after I found out about Poppy. I wish Titanic Sinclair hadn't deleted everything from that channel, but there are some vids floating around on youtube that people archived thankfully.

Also, found this dude when I started digging more into the That Poppy project and hoo boy. While he gives you interesting info about Mars Argo, he kinda creeps me out. Saying he deleted his facebook because a popstar told him to. This is the fanbase Titanic Sinclair is making fun of and it just went way over this guys head.

He has an entire playlist dedicated to talking about That Poppy.

Yeah, Mars Argo is pretty great too and a high recommend if you like Poppy or Titanic Sinclair. Little more traditionally rock, still pretty weird
