No better time to get a good VPN, use Tor, change your password, and make sure if you sign up to use an alt email + a username you've never used anywhere else.
Never know who might get access to your IP, email addy, personal details, etc.
Also don't click weird links or download gayware files without checking them.

you should treat EVERY site this way, but it's not reasonable to do it to ALL

but especially KF you should treat like the first amendment will be repealed tomorrow and null forced to dox everyone on his site the same day

To be honest, Null could've fucked this kid's life up. He had a public Discord account and I bet he used his real IP to connect to KF. I'm not a legal expert, but Turkey does have laws against cybercrime. And because several files have been altered, even a prison sentence could've been on the table.

Thankfully, this kid choose the right website to mess with and everyone won. But imagine if he messed with some other forum and the tranny-jannies got mad. Or even worse, some news publication or journalist's personal site or blog.
