After having the features restored, I’m more with Papi Null on this one. I have no idea how you people are navigating the website this way, but you do you.

We need a negrate that literally stimulates the Neuralink chip in whoever you're rating that makes them flip out in a really amusing way because of how angry it makes them.

I was absolutely flabbergasted even to find out there are people, or should I even call them "people," who would "navigate" this site in such a completely retarded way. How did this seem like a good idea? It's literally insane to me.

I guess whatever. I'll get over it.

It's the funnest way to use the site.

The chaos/randomness is the beauty of it. It feels more organic that way. I dunno how else to describe it.

You don't even want to know how I find new content. lmao.

One of the things that has bothered me in the post ratings discussion is Null's insistence that if you see sticker reactions, you're "using the site wrong". Yes, I know using the stickers for dopamine hits is wrong, and people use it that way are wrong. However, sometimes, it serves as an alert to a thread that I may not have watched (it's pointless to watch every thread you post in) but it signifies the thread is getting new activity.

However, the question I wanted to ask is what Null sees as a "model forum". He has stated before in one his streams that KF is the sort of site he would've liked, and can't participate it in the same way he would if he were a mere user (it doesn't work that way, and he's right). So what forums do it (or did it) "right"? He's talked about Something Awful before, but his exposé on Lowtax indicates that he was a bit of a douchebag who got lucky at the right place at the right time, and the fact that SA was a good website for a while was just a happy accident.

The Ratings is like crack cocaine to me. At the start of the day Ill have zero, Ill make a few posts and go away. At the end of the day it will rack upto 30 something stickers and it triggers such a great dopamine rush. I should get off the internet sometime, this is unhealthy.
Ive not been exposed to the rating notifications system since I joined after they went away. But now that I have them, yes this is exactly what it feels like. I know its wrong and I dont want to engage in it but its so good, please somebody help.

One where he models sexy pajamas. It's where all his brainstorms for the site are heading: Sexy pajamas, modeled by Josh, strutting around a dark room in dirty, bare feet and turning directly into each of thirty eight cameras to look over his sunglasses and wink, while Sharp Dressed Man.mp3 autoplays in every page. We may as well get used to it.

I just tried to like a post and it took me to a page that had this. Before I clicked "like" I noticed that hovering over it didn't bring up the usual reactions, then clicking took me to this:

I refreshed the page I had been on and could react normally. Very odd.

It happens sometimes. On profile posts and DM posts, this is the only way to react with anything other than like, because you can change the reaction ID in the URL on that page to submit a different reaction.
