I think it's more suitable to a rating of its own, like the Semper Fidelis is a super winner. An Iron Cross should be a rare honor, not just a substitute for the generic upvote for gimme ratings faming posts.

I like the new Winner icon myself, but maybe it could be utilized on a smaller scale as you're saying. I chuckled a bit when I first saw it, but knowing that the real thing was given out on a more selective basis, it does lose its impact from overuse. Maybe experiment a little with different icons for a bit?

Like or Agree works for most situations in my opinion, but it's hard to resist the Winner rating with some of the posts I've seen recently.

I agree. It should be called Ironic Cross and be a special tag category for snarky posts.

I was joking about a thread-specific rating but I think this would be a pretty good idea given the influx of moral crusaders every time something like DaddyoFive gets posted.
