That's one way to stop people from being petty and 'revenge rating' any time they get negs(happens all the time)
No idea when it was implemented though, but I love it.

reeeeeeeee, it's killing me inside. i don't revenge-rate. i just like knowing how my posts resonate with the community so i can know what changes i need to make to my posts so they are more acceptable.

Did Null reinstate alerts when ratings are given out when I wasn't looking? Or is this just some glitch someone forgot to fix?

If it's the former, one can imagine someone that doesn't like negative or neutral ratings will flip out once they see who rated them dumb or autistic.

I'm not too fond of the rating alerts. It clogs up my alert feed and I gotta shuffle through them to find thread replies

I like ratings because it roots out the speds who are triggered by neg rates

Finally glad to see the ratings alerts back after so many months for convenience.

I can usually check them in the "Ratings received" link in the sidebar, myself. I'd rather be able to know who replied to me first and foremost than have to wade through several ratings alerts before finding that out.I'm not too fond of the rating alerts. Back in the day I'm pretty sure that I argued against the removal of the ratings alerts.
Now that they've been gone so long I HATE HAVING THEM BACK this was the worst decision since the last one!!!!
