I haven't actually finished anything in a while, and I was kinda debating whether to actually post anything here considering the nature of this place and the concern that someone may 'trace' me or whatever, but I don't think anyone really cares enough about me to do anything (and if they really wanted to I'm sure they could do it anyways since I all but outright said who I am/where I usually lurk at one point when I was thrown in the center of something so whatever).

Maybe I'll delete this post later or something idk.

Ever since Jurassic World closed much like its predecessor, the aged tyrannosaur "Rexy" has retired from the theme park business and taken up a new career in knitting. I'm tempted to call her enterprise "Jurassic Wool", except goat hair would make a more fitting material for her to work with.

Considering Rexy is pretty much the old lady of Isla Nublar, the mental image of her knitting begged to be drawn.

15,000 years ago in what will someday become China, this sister is teaching her younger brother how to track hoofed game. Although these prehistoric foragers are meant to represent the ancestors of modern Chinese, it was only a short time ago that their lineage diverged from that of Native Americans in northeastern Asia. Thereby their designs (as well as their encampment in the background to the right) refer to Native American as well as Asian cultural influences.

I did have to take it down a notch or ten. But remember that saying "You give people an inch and they'll take a mile." I did go off on some art douchebag no too long ago and hid the comments. I'm done with being nice. The only way to get people to listen to me anymore is to be a total fucking bitch about it. Too many people think the word "no" means "negotiate". Fuck that! I don't owe you the time of day, let alone a drawing that will take me hour of my time and my materials FOR FREE.

I have found that saying "you will need to pay me" instead of bitching when people make requests often means the well intentioned ones set my name aside for when they can pay someone.

A little etiquette about your craft goes a long way to not alienating your admirers.
