but like actually tho is there any reason you’re this fixated on this character from an unreleased game?
The most important part of drawing is roughing in the correct proportions. In the first sketch, you can see the lower body is WAY too compressed compared to the torso. Easy way of doing this is literally just to draw a vertical line for the body and proportionally to give yourself a guide of where everything should be placed.Hopefully i'll have a full-bodied drawing done eventually, I've finally had more time to ease back into drawing. If anyone can give tips on some anatomy that would be great. I'm doing more references and it's really improving my art instead of shoot in the dark.
I've been on a gundam kick since I started the series a few weeks ago and I couldn't help but want to draw an oc. I found an expression meme and I just started off doing dumb little warm up doodles and I'm pretty happy how they're coming out!
I can see the puzzle pieces coming my way and I don't care. Sorry it's kinda smudgy my hand likes to smear everything and i'm finally getting used to shading since I never really did that.
Also Char's helmet is a bitch. I was trying to do some gundam-san practice there, yea that helmet is a bitch but I can't wait to draw more of him though it's on the bucket list.
Yea it's oc x cannon I don't give a shit I'm happy I'm drawing again.
A lot of learning anatomy is just trial and error and sheer practice. There's plenty of specific tips depending on how technical you like to get, but it's really more about drawing the body so many times that you just know how it looks. I know that's a pretty vague answer but here are some more specific tips:snip
Wow, that looks great.![]()
